Start thinking likea pin cushion. If you can't produce a record of of vaccinations, you'll eventually need to do them again. Whether you do them abroad or in the USA is up to you.

Yes, my wife had the same problem. She recently went and got all of the vaccinations that were appropriate for her. But now for us it is an issue, because we just found out she is pregnant. So she is so worried that there could be a problem with the baby.

But anyway, just go to the doctor and get the vaccinations, no big deal. Lots of people need to do this.

If you KNOW you have had all, or most, of hte vaccinations required you DO NOT need to get them again (and if you ask some doctors, there could be health risks in doing so).

Go to your regular family doctor, give him/her the list of the required vaccinations, and have them draw blood and do titre tests. The titres will determine if you currently have any immunity to the listed diseases (ie: you've had the vaccinatios or had the disease already). If you show no immunity, then get the vaccine. If you do show immunity, there's no need for an unneccessary vaccine. And in most cases, the blood tests are less expensive (or in some countries totally free).

Everything that I read, The only problem that the doctors think might be a problem is the live vaccines. She got most of them in the previous month before getting pregnant. The one the doctor is worried about is, she received the Varicella vaccine, which is a live one about a week after she got pregnant, before she knew she was pregnant.

But, with all of the research that I have done: It is only a concerne of doctors about the vaccines, that their is the possibility of a problem. There have not been any actual reports of anyone having any problems to the mother or the baby from receiving vaccines.

If anyone else has any more information, I would appreciate it.

turns out my doctors also have no record of any of my immunisations so im going to the nurse on thursday to have a chat with her.

If anyone knows the best way to proceed with the medical please share

Like I said before, have your doctor's office draw blood and do titre tests. Take the results of the titre to the medical. If anything shows up as not immune, then get the shot. That's all I did. The only shot I needed was tetanus.
