when to send RFE

we got a RFE after we sent the DS-230 forms. i was talking with an operator and she told me that we forgot to send the copy of passport biographic page... they sent a letter about that...

i dont know if we can send the the copy without the letter from NVC or we have to wait the bar code from them?

11/4/11 Biometrics for 11/22/11

11/28/11 received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling

11/30/11 received both text and email that my N-400 is already schedule for interview

1/05/12 interview - passed !!!!

3/22/12 Oath Ceremony !!!!

Base on our experience, the operator told us to wait for the letter to come since it is not stated on the computer what is requested...

In my opinion just wait for the letter to come coz its in the letter the instructions on how you will reply that RFE.

If the operator told you what is missing and you have a copy of the barcoded letter that you returned with the DS-230 you can send it in to them with a copy of that barcoded letter if you don't want to wait.

I received an RFE because they said my AOS form was not an original signature. Which is BS. Because I have not made any copies of my forms. For all copies, I just print multiple copies and sign the all.

But, the letter will tell you to include the barcode form and the letter with the response, so you do need to wait for the letter. It should not take long. It only took 4 days for the letter to get to me.

7-16-08 - CASE COMPLETE!!!!

8-14-08 - Interview. APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!

8-19-08 - POE, Washington DC.

i think we have to wait the letter... hope will not take 2 weeks to got it (like the DS-230 letter)...
