No, I don't want to live in India (unless I had no choice to). Visiting is ok.

No. England is too cold for me...but the clincher is, I have a daughter here.

Hehe...one reason I don't want to live in India is it's too hot, AND---any country where the birthday boy or girl has to pay to take everyone else out to eat is not a country I'd want to live in! Yes in India, you'd like to hide your birthday so you don't have everyone saying "so where are you taking us out for YOUR birthday?". That is just a small reason, I have lots of reasons.

I voted Yes given financial stability.

Too soon to tell how things will go for either of us here and I always dreamed of having a lakehouse to go to here in the U.S. but have also liked the idea of having a vacation spot in Brazil.

And that's not the worst of the temps.

In Chennai, I've seen daytime temps of 107--and in inland non-altitude cities (such as Madurai, Nagpur or Hyderabad) you can get may temps of 113.

(a mystery why Nagpur was actually piced as the summer capitol of Maharashtra state--it is the only one which is worse climatically than the winter/"regular" capitol)

I voted no; but we can always visit. Some days, I'm not even sure we want to do that.

If, one day, he has no more family or friends on the island, we would reconsider moving there. Otherwise, no way in hell.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

We are definately planning to move to Liberia once we graduate from college and get settled with our careers. Also, we are trying to wait for more rebuilding to take place before we move there longterm. Healthcare and education there isn't the greatest so those are other factors that are playing into our decision. For now, we are just planning to make several visits per year.

Well when that day occurs for you, me and Zee (that rhymes :D ), we will be neighbors!

You will get tired of me and send me back to my neighborhood.

My husband is from the Amazon and the temperature is not what kills you, it's the humidity!!!! You sweat after walking down the block. I used to take 3-4 showers a day to cool myself off, and it's not just because I'm a gringa...that's common. We had a shower at work!
