This whole support paper is stressing me out im not sure i am filling it out right. Is there instructions somewhere i can look at? and seems how my dad and i live in the same house, does he just do the same things i fill out for support or does he have to do anything additional??? I know he makes probably at least 40,000 a year and he has a house, life insurance, retirement and stuff like that. He also has to claim himself, my brother in law, and my fiance. HOwever he doesnt have to put me on there at all does he even though i live with him? because i have my own job and a daughter ???? pleasssssse HELLPPPPP!

VJ has a sample I-134 form filled out here. Maybe that helps a little. The USCIS version does have instructions, too.

Think of filling this out like you would your federal taxes. Your dad would only claim you as a dependent if you are one normally on his taxes. Your fiancé is +1 on his dependent list. If you're unsure if he meets the requirement (it sounds like he does), you can check those here -- they use the same guidelines as the I-864 that you'll file at AOS. Look at the 125% side for the correct number, and it uses gross income.

I hope that helps!

Things appear to be moving...it is a positive thing. I think of my fiance being alone for her 3rd year of holidays and it is tough. Of course saying "We will have many more together" doesn't seem to cut it. All of the timelines are relatively close to each other now. This waiting makes it difficult to not think the worst, like RFE's etc... but maybe VSC will punch out a few more approvals before Thanksgiving. Congrats to all approved I am excited for everyone. :dancing:

I've never called anyone to check the status of our case but I figured I'd give it a shot today since I'm feeling chipper :).

When you guys call to check on your case, do you call USCIS or the NVC? I've been trying to dial 603 334-0700 for the NVC and am just getting a busy signal. I'm calling from a cell phone, does this make a difference? The website says it requires a touch tone, so I wasn't sure if that was it.

Best of luck, everyone! We're well on our way.

I call NVC on the number you've been trying, although never tried it off a cell phone. So far i've never had a busy tone, so could be the cell phone?! It is a 24hr automated service.

My case was touched today......I guess it is pointless to call and ask why??? Status is the same...

Hope it's your NOA2.

Sounds like your noa2 is gonna happen today or this week! and this is only a 3 day week i know. even if you got a rfe, the second you submitted it you'd get approved. this touch is a good thing! you are next!!
