I hope you're right. I think I am just tired and cranky about the entire process.

I'm tired of waiting with no answers forthcoming. Never being able to see any sort of change on the USless website. Every day we live in separate hemispheres is longer than the last.

I'm tired of folks with heaps of touches (that from their signatures they were plenty excited about) telling me that they don't matter. Well they do ..to those of us who never get any.

I'm tired of people telling me that we have the rest of our lives together, hang in there, be patient, what's little wait now? We are 56 and 58 years old, respectively, and one of us is a cancer survivor, so really quite frankly I have to wonder how long can we expect that to be?

So..we wait. Of all of it, I am most particularly tired of that.

I have his Christmas things here on the desk this morning, and I am packing them up to send off to him, and the family there. We had hopes early in the piece that I may just make it there in time, but I know I'd be better served now to meet the 29 November postal dates for International.

NZ Post, at least, can tell me when THAT wil be.

I know I have to mail Kais out to Ozland in newcastle AU so hoping it gets there in time..if not it is okay:(

I agree though I miss him SOOOOOOOOOO much I just want him HOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I know how you feel and yes it does get tiring when people say to hang in there etc, but really we all have no choice but to do that. i mean uscis have us ALL by the short and curlies. They literally have our lives on hold and some say that well, its only for 4 months or 6 months that you have to wait. but i think that at times it is still quite cruel to put people through all this uncertainty and unneccesary stress! god knows, that since me and my SO have started this journey, i cannot recall having a decent sleep as the process is always on my mind.. 24/7 and will no doubt not end until i file for AOS or whatever the last segment of the journey may be.

I think one of the things that i have found most frustrating about it all so far is the inefficiency of uscis.. I mean i know they are snowballed with applications from whatever visas etc but what with problems with their website and having telephone operators that know NOTHING about the processes, really makes you wonder what the heck is going on there. The government really needs to be focusing on making these departments more efficient etc and put some money into it. After all, the fees we pay for the forms etc aren't exactly chicken feed so what on earth do they do with all this money??

Anyway, my heart goes out to you and everyone still waiting for approval. I really truly hope you guys will all get approved next week.. (L)(F)(L)(F)

It isn't first in first out for sure. They can say what they like, it isn't true.

Congrats on getting through to the embassy so soon!

WOW well done guys its seems once everything leaves the black hole of USCIS things really start to speed up!!

I am so frustrated with all this right now, so much for working cases in order. I dont want to take anything away from thiose that have been approved already but the system stinks :crying: :crying:

It sucks in a major way. :(

Even more so now. Like an idiot, I checked out my timeline. It's changed.

SOOO...now that we are approved my co-sponsor just backed out at the last minute and I have no idea what I am going to do. I asked my dad if he would be willing to sponsor JOhny and I have yet to get an answer out of him. Dammit why does the united states make it so hard. My fiance went to school here but yet cannot come back here without a fight. I highly doubt after someone goes to college in a rich country goes back to a poor country and wants to come back to a rich country to use his education would be a public charge. But yet they also make them wait three months to get a job, even someone that go educated here....so ya basically i dont know what to do...he might not be coming home after all...

I'm sorry you have to go through all of that :(. Did they say why they backed out? Like, is there some kind of misunderstanding about what it entails so that you could convince them? I hope it all works out, and soon! You certainly don't deserve any more stress.

I'm really sorry. I understand that sense of panic you're feeling, and I do hope your father comes through for you. I've mentioned it a couple times that I had trouble with co-sponsorship with my dad. I went over the paperwork carefully with him because he didn't understand how unlikely it was for the government to come after him for money, and then I wrote an agreement to repay him if it did somehow end up costing them anything related to those documents.

Maybe that helps with some ideas how to approach your former co-sponsor or your father. Good luck.

Kai and I are so stressed over the visa we are so tired of waiting he is scared of being denied or screwing up the questions or getting our address wrong...he has been bawling and we got into a argument to the point of me almost letting him go so he is not so stressed out.

He said no no I miss you so damn bad its killing me

I wish I knew what questions they will ask him so he is not freaking out about screwing up..he just wants to be home

I do not think it is fair how we wait so damn long to be with each other and I am worried they will say MY GOD your how old and she is HOW OLD nope denied...or why would you NOT want to be with someone YOUR OWN AGE instead of that old hag....

I wish I could stop bawling so hard...I just miss him and I am so depressed..if we got denied I would die and so would he...its been 1.5 years of not seeing each other due to funds. Now we are saving some and working hard on saving more so we can adopt. We thought it would be better to put money away then waste the money on trips when we know we will spend our lives together.

I hare the visa process!!!!! I hate the fact I have to worry if some Ahole will say NO you are not in a bonafide relationship because YOU only seen each other for three months physically OR your two old for him.

I miss him so damn bad its killing me. I cant get the tears to stop because if I lost him I would not want to live

I have never loved someone so intensely. I also worry because I been married 3 times THAT will be a red flag..I hate my life right now!!!!!! I just am so freaked out by the 3 divorces, our age gap AND the interview

Aww hunny, The interview will be fine, look thro the consulate stuff on here someone must have a list of previous questions asked, If its anything like the UK most people seem to get asked 5-6 questions and thats it. He'll spend longer getting thro the security checks and into the embassy than he will in the interview. Just make sure everything is in order and to hand. Ive set up a folder with those plastic pockets things all dated for each month, and everything goes into the respective pocket. That way if they ask for my divorce stuff its all in one place and I'm not scrabbling thro a whole bunch of papers. I WILL BE SOOOO NERVOUS, I hate interview type scenarios so I'm trying to be as organized as I can so I'm not flapping like a flappy thing on flap day

I'm lucky Ive got to spend a ten days with Shan but I know on Tuesday when she goes back my heart will break all over again, it never gets any easier saying goodbye to a loved one when deep down you both have no idea when you'll get to hold each other again. We both thought that we would be together by now and the extra time is hard, no torture. The kids don't understand especially the youngest two (7+9) why I cant just come home. Talking to them every night on skype is heartbreaking listening to what their day has been like wanting soo much to be there and share simple stuff like taking Jack to his Baseball games, taking Meghan swimming in the ocean or taking them to Target to buy Mom a present.

The thing that keeps me going is I know IT WILL HAPPEN, Shan is my true soulmate and like you I cant imagine a day where she isn't in my life. Everything we do, although we're 4000 miles apart, we do as a family.

We argue, we get frustrated with each other but in the end it all boils down to one thing. We're angry not with each other but with this lousy, screwed up system, try and remember that.

Try not to worry, I know its not easy, hell this process would drive a saint to distraction and possibly even murder!!!!

We're all here for you to help along the way so dont forget just holler if ya need us!

Stay strong we'll get there love0073.gif

aww big hugs cham.. It will all be ok. Stay positive and keep reminding each other how much you love each other. I dont believe that age is a problem nor your divorces. I have been reading your post since I arrived here and I can feel the love that you have for him and I know they will see it too during the interview..

SOON this will all be over and you will be in each others arms, and happy that this is all in the past.

Keith is also worried about the interview as his memory is not good at all. I can tell him something yesterday and ask him about it today and he cant remember half of what I said. He really doesnt remember things. He is worried about exact dates, I have told him that hopefully as long as he remembers the months and the years that all will be ok, which he does. He also said he will be honest with them and tell them if he cant remember something and why.. eeeks I hope its ok,, staying positive that it will be. The only thing I worry about is my birthday.. he knows its the 2nd of may but my oldest daughters is the 22 of may and since we have been together he has always teased me saying mine is the 22 ... I have told him to stop that as he might mess up when he gets there LOL..

Anyways cham you both will be fine, You have a positive attitude and you always help everyone here and you are always here to listen to others in need so if you need someone to talk to let me know..

Tell Kai that he will be ok cause he has a fantastic woman in his corner :)

huggs
