Question on vaccinations. In packet 3 there is a list of 20 vaccinations that may be needed. Does he have to get all of them? not only is that a fortune, but ouch! I always wanted a holy hubby, not a holey one!

There are only 3 I think and you dont need them for the K1 but you will need them for the AOS. I'm getting mine done with the local GP as there are free!!

Ok...so you dont need to get any vaccinations before the interview? It was in the pack 3 so figured he did. haha, my fiance will be relieved! he thought he needed all. geee, i'm bringing over an english man, not an ape from the congo!

does not matter though he will still have to get all those shots (some he probably already has like the Mmr one and that) so if he has had some when he is a kid..bring the shot record with you OR get an immunity test. Remember though it will cost YOU and HIM both $$$ because the Hep b shot in Idaho here is 45 a piece you get a series of 3 shots ( I know I had them because I work in a nursing home OUCHHH LOL)

Some will be hirer..SO if he can have his doctor do it on his medical (which should be free) then DO IT!! It will be WAY cheaper in the long run and save you all money

(PS remember some shots ARE combined into one...which makes it less then getting 20 actual shots

July friends - my fiance is coming to visit me this weekend and wants to use the word "fiancee" if asked who he is here to visit. That makes me very nervous. i don't want him to be turned away. Aubrey, Shannon&Nick and anyone else that has any experience with this, can you remind me what your fiances' said when questioned about their visit? He will have a copy of his lease agreement, his work contract, his itinerary w/ return ticket information and a copy of the NOA1.

Thanks all for your advice. I'm thinking that it'll go smoothly. I mean they usually ask, "what is the purpose of your visit?" He can say "for a vacation" or "visiting for the holidays". "who will you be staying with?" --" At a hotel and with friends." I guess I freaked when he said that'd he'd be honest and say "I'm here to visit my fiance." hahaha I think I'll just have to talk to him. So scared of him being turned away. I swear that he's going back to France after Thanksgiving week!

It's been really frustrating this week. Seemed like there was some major movement last week, but now it feels like we hit the wall again and not too many people are getting approved.

I'm more excited than ever! And let me share my excitement with you, so that maybe I can spread some happiness since some of you seem pretty down.

Each day that passes is a day that we're closer to being united with our future husbands and wives. We really are in the home stretch! The biggest part of our waiting is over, and even for those who are waiting to use the NOA2, the situation will soon be in OUR HANDS and not the government's. At last!

I am so overjoyed for the people who already have their NOA2 and have no doubt that ours are all on the way. I have longer to wait than most of you because I'm technically an August filer, but I'm starting to gather everything. By next week, the cosponsor paperwork will be in a nice little envelope and ready to be mailed. I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving and we're a mere month or two from an approval.

Christmas is nearing and listening to jazzy holiday music while driving down the snowy roads makes me feel really in love. I miss Sebastian, but the warm, fuzzy feeling of love is way more overwhelming.

Remember, we are all head over heels in love and our stories are INCREDIBLY romantic. This is the stuff books and plays are written about- falling madly in love with an exotic foreigner and fighting all odds to be together. And our stories lead to fluffy white dresses and happily ever after .

Get him to have as many jabs as he can at his Doctors surgery as they will be free. Better he gets them on the NHS than having to pay for them in the not too distant future!

For the medical he will have to show his vaccination records, any required that he hasn't had will have to be paid for at extortinate prices!
