Ok so I called the number and I think the lady got up on the wrong side of the bed lol.. she was umm a bit cranky LOL.. anyways they dont have my case yet .. she said to me... do you have your approval letter and I said no , she said well we dont get your case until you do . Well I was just hoping I will try again in a week maybe better news then

Good luck next time! I think its better to call NVC than USCIS. If NVC dont have ur case that means u are not approved. On the other hand, USCIS first line of support will not tell u nething. They will just read u the status of your case(receive and pending) LOL.

Yep...would be a wonderful thing!! At least then you know the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train. Then it is a matter of smoothing past the interview. My timeline loses a day every day, should be moving the other direction.

Is the NVC answered by an automated thing? 24 hrs?

I got an automated service that is 24hrs.

No record of us at the moment so our file is still with VSC awaiting NOA2...or approved and in transit

Hi all

Is it REALLY nessasary for the co sponser to show the last three years of tax transcripts???

the reason why I am asking is two years ago he claimed his ex fiances daughter from a previous relationship and his daughter that he had with her.

Last year was only his daughter and we have THAT one but no others. He has bank statements, check stubs employee letters from both jobs and so on.

Not for the K1, it is needed later down the line...when filing Adjustment of Status.

The instructions on I-134 state that the sponsor needs copies of ANY or ALL the following documentation:

A Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institute where you have deposits

* Date account opened

* Total amount deposited for last year

* present balance

B Statement of your employer on business stationery revealing,

* date & nature of employment

* salary paid

* whether position temp or perm

C If self-employed

* copy of last tax return filed; or

* report of commercial rating concern

D List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner.

The 3years tax returns come into play when the I-864 Affidavit of support is completed when applying for Adjustment of Status.

I am lead to believe, although clarification would be good, that the I-134 is not a binding affidavit where as the I-864 is. This would allow your son to accrue another year of tax returns so when you complete the I-864 he will be able to produce the 3years required.

THAT CHAPS MY HIDE! We spend HOW long waiting and we get some witchy bitcht person??? I really hate that. I never go to work as a crab I leave what is bugging me at home

Not really cuz' you just got approved right ? And the date which is important is when they send you the NOA1, not when you send your petition. So, actually they are approving july even end of july
