HOLY COW GRATZ TO THOSE WHO ARE APPROVED!!!

So excited! Lets hope VCS and CSC move fast for us all!

NOW a QUESTION! LOLI have the tax transcripts BUT do I need my w2s as well. My old job has closed so do not know how to get those OR do I need the w2s from the current job i have?

ALSO, Son is co=sponser and has his bank statement and his tax return (found out that some did use the tax return and did okay in sydney au) He also has letters from his two jobs FROM the bosses as well

Will that be enough????also has check stubs as well

my daughter and sister are also typing up their own support letters to give us for the visa showing family here accepts him and loves him.

I had a check list of EVERYTHING needed at the interview in order of what they ask..BUT had to reformat AGAIN...I swear

He is going in for his shots this week as he finally had time (life has been sooooooo GRRR lately had some serious messed up sick news about my ex brother in law ..LONG STORY but lets just say I am glad he is in prison for a long time and if I saw him i would probably hit him with my car

anyway lots of loves

Meri and Kai

Nope girlie, you only need tax transcripts. They replace both the 1040 and W2s. Otherwise you need employment letter showing your job title, salary, and dates of employment and recent paystubs. That's the financial stuff they require for the affidavit. The tax transcripts/return+w2's is generally "bonus" material, as it's not listed on the I-134 as required unless someone's self-employed.

In other news, Andy's interview went well he said, but no word yet on whether he got it or not. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have really have some dilemmas. First it is very difficult , as it is for all, to keep my fiance upbeat. She is really having struggles understanding the system and obviously doesn't want to spend another day alone. Our relationship has been 2 1/2 years and in hindsight I should have moved quicker. I understand our redtape processes as I have lived in the states my whole life. I think with the holidays approaching in a month and a half it is that much more difficult. The other issue is my business, I am in the title industry and we all know about the mortgage crisis. I worry every 2 weeks if I can make payroll or not. I obviously have had a stable check for 5 years and my 3 years worth of sweet IRS returns. But I am hoping I can hold out until she gets an interview date so I can send my financial package. It would be horrible to go through this and at the last moment not be able to show the income to support. Everyday it makes me sick to feel this pressure. Our job market is not very stable, that was an understatement. So immediately finding work in the 11th hour could be difficult. Has anyone thought of what happens if in the final days they can't show the income? Man, my stomach is in knots. :clock:

I didn't really consider this until last night. While I don't think I'm in danger of losing my job, you never know in this economy. I spoke with my mom last night and she agreed to co-sponsor if needed. I agree with Gemmie, maybe you should line up a co-sponsor if needed. Additionally, you could list assets if you have enough.

Congrats! After seeing that the USCIS doesn't update the website I have been very careful about just throwing away the junk mail coupon fliers and stuff in my mail. I search through it page by page. Receiving it and throwing it away by accident would truly suck. :bonk:

My thoughts exactly! I've been tossing away all the holiday sales stuff without really going through it. I'll be more careful in the next few weeks!

Thanks for your well wishes and prayers....

I have 3 years of tax transcripts, the letter from my bank is no problem(if I get it now), bank statements 4months, letter from my business partner, I wonder if they even need check stubs? Also, I like the idea of preparing it now. Quite frankly, I am scared of the international shipping. I would feel more comfortable sending it now(for the financial reason) as well as the time. I once used USPS to send a cell phone and some goodies and I kid you not it took almost 5 weeks to arrive, I can't afford the time for that so I guess Fedex is the answer. I would take the packet obviously if i can attend the interview, but for obvious reasons, one spur of the moment plane ticket is about all I want to afford. Now i feel in disarray and damn I was so organized when I sent the first packet in. Ok.....exhale

Having extra proof/evidence never hurts. The more u have the better IMO. I was looking for a sample here on this forum but can't find it. :(

Andy's dad snapped the original of us when I visited in May. I Photoshop'd it to make it artsy fartsy. Send me a photo and I'll do something similar for you if you want.

Thanks for your well wishes and prayers....

Yeah, I'm not risking USPS anymore after losing something twice mailing it to Andy. FedEx it is for me, too.

And as far as I recall from the I-134, I'm pretty sure the pay stubs are required. You'd be best to double check that than come up short at the interview.

Letters are not required. As some others have said, more proof can be better, particularly if the non-USC is from a high risk country. The consulate reviews from Germany make it sound like a breeze, and I've been with my SO a long time this year. Consider how much proof you have and add if you feel you're coming up short. The non-USC's primary obligation at the interview is to show proof of an ongoing, genuine relationship.
