Hi guys! Im a JULY filer as well..

I just have a question, hoping someone would be able to answer it for me. I am now in Bermuda - working but I am originally from the Phils. My fiance filed the petition for me and I will be having my said interview here in Bermuda (US Embassy). Now, I came here when I was 13, then stayed for 5 yrs, then moved back to the Philippines then moved here again. Now my question is with the Police Cert/Report. Would they require me to bring a Police cert from the Phils or would the one from Bermuda suffice everything? Because I am hoping that when we get the NOA2, I pretty much have all the requirements, so we can go smooth sailing from then on.

I might be wrong but I think you need one for every country you have lived in for longer than 6 months.....

Welcome to the july filers thread!

In general the police certificate is required from all countries lived in since the age of 16 for a year or longer but it could vary for each consulate. So you would need one for Bermuda for sure. How long did you live in the Phils for? You could contact the Embassy where you will have the interview to find out for sure what the requirements are. I emailed my local embassy to find out information and they replied straight away. They were really helpful!

How did you guys all get together?

Rob checked out my profile on Myspace, realised I had profile tracker so thought he would email in case i thought he was a weirdo for looking but not contacting me...didn't have the heart to tell him it only gives an IP addy so I wouldn't have known!!

Neither of us was looking for a relationship, I woke up one day and realised i was head over heels...he'd sent me a message around the same time telling me how he felt! Kinda weird when you've fallen for someone you've never met, Mo Anam Cara!

How did you guys all get together?

We met on myspace too...he wrote me, i had no problem writing him back because, safe enough, he's in England. plus...British guys grrrr. we talked every day n fast became best friends. we had soooo much in common! we loved each other, but i didnt put my heart too into it, it just seemed impossible...i mean he was 6000 miles away. then we met when i went there n we fell 100% in love. i mean, we were in love already, but this just confirmed it. I remember thinking to myself, this is the most loving, sweetest man i have ever met in my whole life n no guy has ever made me feel so loved and so special. He still is and still does! I know God brought us together and picked him out for me! After much prayer, things fell into place and I know i cant live without this guy. hes my best friend and love of my life! thank you Jesus! =)

Sorry to change the subject but i have a serious question and i need some answers to give me a little more closer. My fiance really wants to visit me in January from Japan. Japan is part of the visa waiver program so she doesn't think it will be a problem to visit. I am just scared for some reason if she was turned around at the port it will jeopordise her getting the k1 visa. what do you guys and ladied think about her visitig me?

My fiance is coming to visit me from France later this month. I don't anticipate any problems so I wouldn't worry about it. Visit away!

NAH not crazy at all!

I think meeting someone online has made me not take someone for granted. when you meet someone in person you have the physical first..BUT online you have to learn communication and you are very emotional with the other person.

I find that kai and I have a very strong and powerful connection compared to others I have dated or married. I never and I mean NEVER thought I would fall for someone I met on World of Warcraft LOL..who knew

I have no hurry getting my noa2. we talked more about it today n my guy wants to make sure all his debts are paid off n save up a bit for when he moves here. so even after we get approved, he probly wont move here right away. will take the full 6 months to come here. so I may be looking at a full year. how do i deal with that? i'm angry n sad. i cant wait that long. i dont want to lose 6 months of our lives together over money! wat do i do? i just want to cry
