WOW it looks gorgeous guys !!

What date have you booked/ or do you have in mind?

We haven't booked anything, we're going to wait until he's officially booked his flight here to make any kind of definitive plans. The great thing about this is we can be really flexible since there aren't any guests. We'll wait and see when he's here, and then see when the master suite + the photographer we want are available and just go! We're hoping it'll be in March or April and luckily those are still considered the off-season and most photographers we've called are totally open. Same with the honeymoon cabin, it's only booked for one weekend in March so we have tons of wiggle room. Did you guys set a date yet? I'm still very jealous of your beach wedding!

Also, congrats crs! Our NOA1 dates are pretty close and...wow...I'd be freaking out if we got it this soon. I don't have nearly enough stuff together.

Wow, that place looks fantastic.

More about my elopement, hey? Well, I hope you're in for a book!!

I told you it would be long! How are you doing your Niagara Falls thing? Are you staying on the U.S. side or getting Advanced Parole beforehand? I stayed at the Embassy Suites once on the Canadian side and it was AMAZING.

Thats fantastic! WOW.......a whole week alone secluded....fantastic! And what a setting!!! It looks as though you have put a lot of thought and research into this wedding and thought of everything :D Its great too that you are personalising it so much and incorporating different traditions into it...as for British tradition dont forget...something old, something new.........:D

I havent got as far as sorting out any permissions to enter Canada yet. It will be on the Canadian side. I shall have to contact the Canadian consulate to find out how to go about it, but it is going to be great.

crs - Congratulations!!! thats great news!!!

we really wanna go back to CA where we went on our first date for our honey moon but we'll see how the finances are holding up!

We'd been chatting on yahoo for 4 days when we booked the trip, Shan flying from Minnesota to CA and me from the UK.

So 8 weeks after we first spoke we met, I arrived the night before to make "arrangements" and met her at the airport March 17th in a tux with red roses....

Was the happiest day of my life!!!

How did you guys all get together?

It was mine too baby... I took my first breath that day... you have given me more happiness than you'll ever know. I adore you sweetheart. Nemo Nisi Mors .. @>---->-------

... and yes, he was in a tux with roses. Nick said he knew it'd be a moment I'd remember for the rest of my life, and he wanted it to be the perfect 'movie moment'. He's truly AMAZING! I am so lucky!

Sorry to change the subject but i have a serious question and i need some answers to give me a little more closer. My fiance really wants to visit me in January from Japan. Japan is part of the visa waiver program so she doesn't think it will be a problem to visit. I am just scared for some reason if she was turned around at the port it will jeopordise her getting the k1 visa. what do you guys and ladied think about her visitig me?

As far as I'm aware even if she was to be denied entry it wont be a negative issue in terms of the K1 visa.

I'm planning on going over to see my other half in January as well.

Just make sure you have plenty of evidence to ties in Japan, work stuff, rental agreement that kinda thing so you can prove its just a visit and not a permanent stay.

How did you guys all get together?

Awww, look at you two being all cute and in love!

I was considering studying abroad in either England or the Czech Republic so I posted something on another forum I belong to asking for advice on the two universities I was debating between. It turned out that not only had Sebastian graduated from Oxford (the university I really wanted to get into) but he'd graduated from the very same Oxford college my American university has an affiliation with! So we started chatting on AIM so he could give me academic advice. Then we started talking on the phone nearly every day and before we knew it, we were in love despite never having met. I was always so skeptical of stuff like that until it happened to me!

I was accepted to Oxford (another miracle, considering they don't even offer my major there) a few months later and 8 months after we'd started chatting, he met me at Heathrow. The rest is history!

Hi, I'm a lurking June filer, but I thought it might be helpful to direct you to a thread where someone posted pretty much the exact same question (she was from the UK and had been denied entry into the US.
