well i hope they find the bad table and get us off of it....im sick of waiting...

so how long after we get approved does everyone think their loved ones will be home with us? visa in hand...

I think the current time from consulate receiving to interview , according to the VJ stats, is about 57 days plus the time for the petition to go to NVC etc so I reckon 8-10 weeks after NOA2 and we should be good to go.

I guess some consulates will process faster tho.......

My packet 3 is already to send back so as soon as I get mine in the post I can go straght out and post mine back overnight..... not that I'm impatient  BUT I WANNA GO HOME!!!! :P

I wanted to prepare my packet 3 also, but do you know where to download the oficial PDFs ?

Juliette http://france.usembassy.gov/ is the embassy web address, in the search bar (top left )put in DS-230 and the no 1 link is the PDF file you need

you will also need ( i think ) DS 156 DS 156 K and maybe the DS-157 but dont quote me on that!! :innocent:

HI VJ'ERS! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this couple did not get their NOA1 on July 25th. They got it on June 25th. When I saw them on IGOR, I had the same positive reaction because I am NOA1 on July 29th. So, I went to their profile only to see that he did a post saying his NOA1 is JUNE 25th - NOT July 25th. This also explains his June sent I-129F date. SORRY VJ'ers!

Long Live Alizee! Check her out!

Eto na lang mas presentable. Hehehe.

I'm referring to the earlier thread where people were talking about the IGOR posting showing someone with NOA1 of July 25th was approved on October 31st. They were getting excited because we are all July filers. But, the person actually had an NOA1 date of June 25th. They filled out their timeline incorrectly - they say in a post that their NOA1 date is June 25th.

Eto na lang mas presentable. Hehehe.

We're planning on getting married on Myrtle Beach as this is where we eventually met face to face.

The reception has space for 21st March and have a Rev. on standby. But i'm getting twitchy that if we book it and pay $700 deposit the visa won't be through in time!

Most the family from my side are geared up to travel from UK, NZ & Saudi. Although Rob's family are saying they won't travel 1-1.5hr down the road as they think we should have a traditional catholic ceremony!

Like the idea of eloping and having a re-newing of vows in a few years and get all the family over. Rob has never been married so alot of the planning has been based around what he wants...so i will defer to my better half!! ;)

In-laws...mmm think i'll try and calm down before i start on that!!!

We're planning on getting married on Myrtle Beach as this is where we eventually met face to face.

Yikes, I know! The link to the London embassy on here says that the time from receipt of packet 3 to the interview date can range from 6-10 weeks! I know a lot of other people get it much sooner, but it makes me too nervous to book anything even for our tiny elopement so I can only imagine how you guys feel. It's so great that your family is willing to fly anywhere! Unfortunately, Sebastian's little brother and sister are still in school or uni so it's nearly impossible.

TeeKol, I've never been to the Poconos but it looks great! Where did you decide on for your honeymoon?

And Shannon and Nick, your idea sounds great. A beach wedding would be so romantic!

This stuff is way more fun to talk about than how impatient we all are :).

I can fully understand your reluctance for booking something, but its so hard not to isnt it :D this is sooo exciting, planning a future with the person you love!!!!!!!

We are going to honeymoon at a hotel overlooking Niagara Falls :D It looks so beautiful......aahhhhh :) Only be there for two nights and getting an annexed room for my son, but its going to be fantastic!!!
