I don't understand what you guys are sayin'... I'm a french citizen, my fiancé is american, do I have to show money paper ? Bank stuff ? I'm independant, my own boss...

Just like the previous poster stated. They don't need any financial paperwork from you, only from your SO since he is a petitioner and he has to show he can financially support you when you come over.

if I got a copy of last years tax return, do I also need my w-2s as well and I also need to get my reward letter from social security for my disabilty to.

According to everything I've read on VJ, you don't need to submit W2's if you use tax transcripts (as opposed to your tax return). If you are using your SS as income, I'd probably include a copy of that, since you normally include paystubs for traditional income.

Ya I have my award letter and I am also getting an amount I am being paid PLUS my pay check stubs

letter from boss ( my w-2 or tax transcripts SUCK because i barely worked BUT that is okay...doc just released me last year)

THEN my son will co-sponser JUST to be on the safe side.

I am hoping that my age difference will not be a factor and the fact that i got divorced WHILE kai was here (fought for over a year to get it done THEN the s-o-b signs then WHEN kai was here...JERK)

I am also taking screen shots of all the calls i made to kai and he will to on his end from yahoo messenger.

I have a LIST ROFL

why does my timeline keep jumping backwards??? It is so frustrating...

it jumps backwards when new timelines are added.

My fiancé and I just mailed off our package today to the California Service Center. Who else is filing this month? I'd love to hear from you!

I'm a nervous nelly as we're headed out of town for several weeks so he can meet my parents. I mailed the package certified/return receipt so I can check that they received it. I guess I will just keep anxiously checking to see if they cash my check while I'm away!

It's good to see some nice things happening. Had a small heart attack when the tax transcripts showed up today...I had forgotten about them and mail from the IRS is usually bad. November is only a few weeks away...

Speaking about tax transcripts, how long did it take you to get them? I ordered mine more than a month ago and still haven't received anything. Not sure if it's a normal waiting period or not.

Don't you only need tax transcripts if you are self employed? I wasn't thinking of including those...

Are tax transcripts just tax records? My Fiance has copies of his tax records already, is this enough or do we need these too please?

They are records of your tax returns in the USA, the nice things is that if you have them, you dont need to track down your W2s and everything is in one place. If you have all of your records with respect to income, you should be fine.

Does anyone know if there is a similar forum for July K3 filers?? That's what I am and can't seem to find anyone else?? Let me know please. I was just curious what anyone else is experiencing since they sent the I-130 & I-129 in. Thanks

It feels neverending. If you change your mind on the transcripts, they are free from the government and if you order using the phone system the IRS has it doesn't take long to get them.

Checking the guides or your embassy's specific requirements might be good too, just in case they want them for some reason.

I guess that I'm weird on this part. I'm not very concerned about proving the ongoing relationship, mostly since Andreas was here for so long. He's got a few pictures from when he was here, he'll have a couple cards I mailed, and that's probably it. I won't be there to make it all organized for him, and I can't afford to mail more weight of paper than I have to. Actually, I'm going to have to FedEx the documents needed, because we've had a problem with mail getting lost between here and there 3 times now.

I feel so grumpy this week. I get an hour or two, with multiple interruptions, with Andy on most days, and it's just so inadequate to fill the void. I can't seem to settle back in to our old routine since his visit. I miss doing other things together besides sit at the damned computer. It's like going backwards in our relationship, and even worse since we've got less time with our current schedules than ever. And then I have my mother calling me all the time asking if he's had any luck with job hunting, saying we should wait till May to bring him here so we both find work, etc. As if I'm not already grumpy missing Andy and worrying about our finances, she adds to the weight of it all. I hate hearing it from her even more when I know that they have money coming out of their ears.

I keep hoping to get some good news. Andy needs a job. I need to see an NOA2. Or money to fall from the sky. Or somehow I invent a teleporter.

Another week comes. One foot in front of the other.
