It's good to see some nice things happening. Had a small heart attack when the tax transcripts showed up today...I had forgotten about them and mail from the IRS is usually bad. :thumbs: November is only a few weeks away...

Speaking about tax transcripts, how long did it take you to get them? I ordered mine more than a month ago and still haven't received anything. Not sure if it's a normal waiting period or not. :unsure:

Don't you only need tax transcripts if you are self employed? I wasn't thinking of including those...

I ordered mine in August and got them in a week or 2. maybe give the IRS a call and see whats going on or reorder them?

Don't you only need tax transcripts if you are self employed? I wasn't thinking of including those...

It's one of those things that you probably don't need, but most people want to have them just in case. As the saying goes, it's better to have something you won't need than the other way around.

I will consider reordering those if they don't show up shortly.

I wish it were November already... :(

The form says something like the average takes about 10 days, unless you checked the wrong box(es)... That form was wonky to fill out.

I will probably give them a call sometime next week. Should be easier that way.

Could it be that some people from USCIS got transferred to IRS and that's the reason I'm still waiting for my transcripts??? :blink:

if I got a copy of last years tax return, do I also need my w-2s as well and I also need to get my reward letter from social security for my disabilty to.

I cant WAIT though until I am off of that and the doctor can fully release me!!!!!!!! GRRRRR I do hope I get DONE with this baking classes soon THIS way I am WELL set with money and I do not have to stress so darn much.

07/25/08 NOA-1 FINALLY!!!!

07/31/08 CHECK WAS CASHED!

07/28/08 touched!!

12/08/08 NOA2 FINALLY!

12/13/08 NOA2 received in the mail

12/18/08 Called NVC at (603)334-0700 and talked to a nice lady named Rose. Our case was received on the13th and was sent out to sydney...WE WILL SEE!

12/13/08 NVC received letter and said they sent out to Sydney

12/18/08 received letter in the mail from NVC.

12/19/08 another letter from NVC stating it was shipped out

12/24/08 ARRIVED IN SYDNEY at 10:26 am and signed by tom

12/29/08 CONFIRMED it is at Sydney and Good ol Tom did sign for it LOL THANKS TOM!!

12/29/08 Sydney waiting for paper file from nvc and has it requested

12/31/08 Sydney confirmed through email that the paper file was received

01/05/09 His police checks are done and sent off!!

01/28/09 Kai went to his medicals forgot one of his passport pics and needs two more shots all was good!

2/18/09 medicals ready to be picked

2/20/09 packet 3 sent in

2/26/09 pkt 3 received today takes UP to 10 days

04/07/09 interview....APPROVED!!!!

04/20/09 He flew in ..flight was changed he was 3 hours late BUT HE IS HOME

port of entry took 2 mins!! LOL

04/25/09 WE ARE MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!

According to everything I've read on VJ, you don't need to submit W2's if you use tax transcripts (as opposed to your tax return). If you are using your SS as income, I'd probably include a copy of that, since you normally include paystubs for traditional income.

Just like the previous poster stated. They don't need any financial paperwork from you, only from your SO since he is a petitioner and he has to show he can financially support you when you come over.
