If it is 4 months I will have my approval at the end of november (for my birthday...). But you know what, everything can happen, it will maybe be 3 months, cross your fingers, we can have some good surprise !

Then I should have mine around midle of nov IF that happens...LETS PRAY!! How cool would THAT be!! I see most on here though FROM what I counted are 4 months a few 3 months and some 5 month wait.

SO if it IS 4 months then those who filed and received their NOA1s in july should HOPEFULLY see the NOA2s in NOV

I want this to be SWIFT! No RFEs...ALL approvals! YOU NAME IT! I just got my tiara in the mail and I cried because it is so elegant and fragile...I tried it on and I felt so BEAUTIFUL!. I showed it to Kai and he was in awe of it. It just made us feel so good that WE are getting married soon and I finally get to Have him back home!

awww Cham that is great. Hopefully time will go quickly and we will be getting our approvals quickly. I know that we wait and wait and wait and then one day we will get our NOA2 and it will be a mad dash to get everything ready for the interview. Our time is coming...hopefully sooner then later.

Yeah, I had Andreas start gathering all the paperwork on his end (birth cert., military records, etc) so all he'll have left is to receive some stuff from me/my folks and his medical. I have to start gathering the doc's for the sponsor/co-sponsor stuff still. Not much I can get ahead on with it, since they want pretty current documents for that.

So how do we know what shots he got and so on for the medicals???

I swear If you all knew here you would not WANT to. From day one she has hated me; and I have tried HARD to get her to like me, but she has not liked anyone her children date...SO I just ignore it now and let him deal with it.

SIGH...MAYBE one day

anyway HOW does he find this out? any?? LOL

I had a titre test done to see what I needed. It's a blood test that gives you immunity results. I only needed tetanus in the end.

I'm so sorry you're having trouble with your future mother-in-law. I guess you'll be lucky she'll be living half a world away from you two. Some people just seem to enjoy making life difficult for others.

As for the medical vaccinations, I'm not familiar with Australia's healthcare system. But doctors keep records a pretty long time, so your SO could always call up his old doctor(s) and get the records from them. At least that's what I would try if this happened to me. I hope you have some luck. Alternatively, I've seen some people on here not have those records and just get re-vaccinated, too.

On a completely different topic, I'm a 2nd time auntie. I have a new baby niece named Maya. Here she is - I can't wait to meet her. Nothing like a baby picture to cheer everyone up, right?

I found out my daughter is having another baby around april! So we both have some fantastic news!!

Well I can't say I don't worry something will go pear-shaped. Something always has.

Try to stay positive, you won't be denied unless something serious is wrong with your petition. Unless you're not able to marry, haven't met in the past 2 years, aren't a US citizen or have a criminal conviction... you're in. The worst you can get is a RFE and then it will be done within days / couple of weeks.

Come on guys, you're next in line after June!!

I think as the waiting game goes on and on, it is natural to think that maybe something is wrong and will get denied. It just seems at times that there is no light at the end of the uscis tunnel!

but i would think that it is very rare to be denied just like that! As Gemmie said, it would have to be something pretty serious and most times you would just get a RFE.

The waiting game also involves waiting to see if our file has been 'touched'. On one hand i am wishing soo badly that my file will get 'touched' but on the other, if i did happen to see that it had been touched, i would then think.. oh no... are they going to send me a RFE? Just can't win eh?

totally, i think about it at times. my fiance has a couple convictions from over 10 yrs ago...stupid stuff wen he was a kid...hes a good man now! (it was thefts, no drugs or sexual offenses). we had a heck of a time getting his B1 visa approved but they approved him. But yeah...its a possibility. I dont know what i'd do!! I cant believe God would take us this far n then let it be denied.... i'm gonna stay positive!
