Our highlight is getting a SSN today after trying since June.

looks like we are sailing in the same ocean, we go yesterday to the social security office, and this time the history was totally different , of course whit the EAD in hand, the lady even told me that if got rush to get my number of social i can go tomorrow to pick it up, but i dont have more rush so we going to wait the 3 cards in snail mail, this lady told me too that i can have my SS just whit my k-1!!( i say for myself no @"%%·&/" are you kidding me i dont know that ), i explain to her my first experience whit a S.S office 6 months ago and she say OMG , some ppl dont do right his job!!!! so there is my lovely experience with S.S.O

Just a little note to brighten the holidays.... we're expecting our next little bundle of pure joy August 6th!!!!

We're not putting anything on facebook because I'm (shan) up for a promotion at work - and there are work 'friends' on facebook and we don't want our pregnancy to affect the chances.

We had our US reception this weekend and it went off without a hitch. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Was it as much a cultural experience for your husbands/wives as it was for us? I swear, Sebastian could not eat enough stuffing!

Jeremy had a good time. We used to spend Thanksgiving together in France since I'd take lots of vacation time then but this year was his first with my whole family. His favorite was the sweet potatoes. We brought home lots of leftovers of that.

Thanksgiving was definitely nice. A couple from VJ had us over (another US-German couple) and Andy definitely enjoyed eating lots and lots of turkey. I had lots of pie, and I know he enjoyed being around new friends and their kids. It was nice not to be alone for once in a long while, for me. I hope everyone else enjoyed their new Thanksgiving experiences, too!
