hey all

job fell through so BACK to square one. I pray they will understand our delimia I been looking for MONTHS for a job that will go with the one i have...I work 2 nights two days then off two days ..I even applied at mcdonalds and other places JUST for extra work...

I feel like crying so much half the time as I feel I am letting him down...

If my memory serves me correctly, when you file his AOS the medical has to be no more than 1 year old.

thanks, i have to go whit my baby he is only 3 years old, the other has 10, but i going whit him anyway !!

so they dont ask for nothing else? i should bring the i485 NOA too? or just the biometrics letters , plus our passports?

If I recall correctly they say on the biometrics letter what to take with you, take these documents that they list and you will be fine.

Well, we are repeating the medical today because it is straight up lost. Not even in the A file according to our Senator's office. There goes another $120 minimum.

Really sorry about the medical. That sucks. They really need to change how those are handled at POE!

Andy tried to do a walk-in biometrics today. They let him in the door, but wouldn't give him a number and told him to wait until there were no people with appointments. An hour later, there were more people going in than coming out, and he gave up (with my blessing). Given that parking is $6 a pop and it's clear on the other side of town from where I'm working (and we have just the one vehicle), it's too costly to experiment with going back in hopes that it speeds up his EAD. Really disappointing day, and now we wait around another 2 weeks till his actual appointment date. I still can't stop being angry at the month delay from the last appointment letter never getting printed by them.

Thanks. Sorry you guys didn't have better luck. On the bright side, we're all close to being done for a while. Our new medical should be ready Friday so hopefully we'll see some progress. Our Senator's office said part of the problem is multiple agencies deal with the medical paperwork so it gets lost alot. They should have to pay for the duplicate exams though....then it wouldn't get lost.

LOL...I might ask for one in blue, without those pesky sleeves that tie in the back. Hard to do any amount of basket weaving that way
