Ya i sent the envelope that they gave to me. Dr. arnold on page 5 part 5 dr. arnold didnt print his name or put his address he just signed and dated it. do you think that is why they could have sent me an RFE??? We got another paper to about the medical and vaccination records but i just figured that meant the same thing....grrr how frustrating. If i was able to make an info pass appt if they can get me in next week do u think they could tell me exactly what i need??? ya we might have to do the medical and everything all over again which is very frustrating. I want to find out if they lost the embassy papers or not, but i dont know if they will tell me....

this whole process is so frustrating.

another question if u all can give me ur thoughts. seems how he missed his biometrics thanks to his lovely friends that said they would take him but didnt show up on time. they took his paper and said they would reschedule it. should i trust them to reschedule it or should i write a letter to do it??? and if i write a letter and they already sent me one out im afraid that it will get changed again...any suggestions?

With regards to the appointment, cant you just write a letter stating what happened and say you are writing to let them know to keep them informed? Get a certificate of posting for it as well. That way you can show that you wrote to them to notify them in case his rescheduling goes astray. Just for your info, when I asked to reschedule mine, it took about 2 weeks to get another appointment, so they werent that fast in rescheduling. I think this is what I would do if I were in your situation. If you had a copy of the biometrics appointment I would send a copy of that with the letter also.

well at this point i dont even know what address to send it to because the address to change appt was on the biometics appt letter. They took his letter from him at the office and told him that they would rescedule it. so i dunno.

Jeremy tried to get a CA ID but was unable because his I-94 expires in 60 days...sounds a lil bogus to me. Has anyone else had this problem?

We were told no ID card in Utah without a SSN. You can get a driver's license without it (SSN) though...strange.

NOA 2. Really?

Koakland...it was basically the same for Alexandra. They would give her the ID but it would expire when the I-94 expired....so it was pointless.

He got his ssn but because they messed up it took an extra 20+ days for him to get it. Too close to I94 expiring. bah! So I guess we have to wait for the EAD. Then It'll expire whenever the EAD expires. That's typically 1 year right? And then the GC is 2 yrs?

Yes the EAD is valid for a year and then needs to be reapplied, about 3 months prior to expiring, if the AOS is not yet approved. The GC is 2 years and you need to file to remove conditions 3 months prior to it expiring. If this is wrong someone please correct me... all of these dates and filings and such...ugh!!! :(

I have a phone number from my biometric appointment letter that it says to call if you have any query with the appointment. My office is in Philadelphia but as its a 1-800 number I think its a central office. You will need you alien number and the application numbers that you would be going to the appointment for ( for me it was the I-485 and the I-765). The number is 1-800-375-5283 be aware that they do speak incredibly quickly!!!!! I had to get my hubby to make the call as I couldnt work out what they were saying fast enough lol.

Hope this helps you. Good luck!
