Hm... well I'm starting to hear the crickets chirp in our thread. :dead: This week has been a whirlwind with trying to coordinate his family, mine, and our plans for a wedding.

Thought I'd let everyone know that the wedding is set: July 16 at the Las Vegas Hilton wedding chapel (one week after Andy's POE).

Congratulations Aubrey ..wonderful times are just ahead ! :)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Congrats Aubrey! So close! And Vegas!!!

Nothing new is going on with me. Jeremy and I got our NOA1s for AOS but it's not half as exciting as the NOA1s and 2s for the K1 process. I'm on the June AOS filers thread but I'm not very interested in the thread. I don't know those people. I know you guys :) It's like going to a new school and making new friends :P hahaha

Oh Jeremy got a letter from SSA saying he'd receive his ssn in a couple of weeks. Remember someone had entered him as a K4 instead of K1 but apparently they worked it out.

That's all for me! The weather is gorgeous in SF today so Jeremy and I are gonna have a lil picnic, drink a lil vino, people watch etc.

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

okay grrrr....I got an RFE on the immunization records. I sent it to dr arnold they told me to do everything and for some reason I got an RFE and im not sure what to do...any suggestions from anyone.

it states that : you failed to submit proper documentation of immunization for the Form 1-485 applicant....

I dont get it. this is all we need right now.

And his friend was late getting him to the biometrics appt so they took his paper and told him that they will rescedule him. Now shoud we write a letter or just hope that they are rescheduling him?

So you sent the vaccination worksheet to Dr Arnold, to transcribe, and the refused that? I wonder on what basis, I mean he is one of their certified Doc's, wherever he is. If any of them in your area would have been prepared to transcribe it and do it for a reasonable fee I am sure you would have done that.

I just sent in the worksheet I got from the Consulate. I thought about getting it transcribed, but enough people were getting through without having bothered I thought we would give it a shot. At least if they RFE me, we are in the same country now, and I'd not be as upset.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

What did Dr. Arnold's office say? I assume you called them...if not I would be curious. I thought you had to send the sealed envelope they returned to you.

They probably just lost it. That's what happened to us. We got an RFE to redo the entire medical minus the vaccination portion (we sent our DS3025 and that must have been good enough) but they lost the medical records from London. We also got an RFE because we "didn't submit our marriage certificate" when we absolutely, 100% did. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time with medical stuff too :(. At least they just want the vaccination stuff, our medical is going to cost nearly $400.

Ugh! That's terrible. Does that delay EAD/AP, or just the green card? It is sad how common "losing" these medical exams seems to be. You two aren't the first I've read with that happening to them.

It doesn't delay EAD or AP, just the green card. It's extra annoying because he obviously wouldn't have been able to make it to the interview phase without having passed the medical.

Ya i sent the envelope that they gave to me. Dr. arnold on page 5 part 5 dr. arnold didnt print his name or put his address he just signed and dated it. do you think that is why they could have sent me an RFE??? We got another paper to about the medical and vaccination records but i just figured that meant the same thing....grrr how frustrating. If i was able to make an info pass appt if they can get me in next week do u think they could tell me exactly what i need??? ya we might have to do the medical and everything all over again which is very frustrating. I want to find out if they lost the embassy papers or not, but i dont know if they will tell me....

this whole process is so frustrating.

another question if u all can give me ur thoughts. seems how he missed his biometrics thanks to his lovely friends that said they would take him but didnt show up on time. they took his paper and said they would reschedule it. should i trust them to reschedule it or should i write a letter to do it??? and if i write a letter and they already sent me one out im afraid that it will get changed again...any suggestions?
