anyone heard from mohammadwalks? he had his interview a couple days ago. ??

We were thinking the same thing... a little worried. I hope it's just a case of too much happiness and too much to do to post on here.

yep, well they say no news is good news. ?? Hurry up mohammad., you're killing us!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while- nursing school is getting the best of me. I'm so glad to see all the good news in here! Marriages and apartments and jobs and cute babies :). As for us, our AOS process is going really smoothly so far. I can't believe how fast things are moving! Sebastian is having a really tough time finding a job though. There are no technology jobs here at all so 2 months later, he finds himself applying to work at pet stores and pizza shops. Hopefully something comes through.

Hi all hope all is well with everyone. I've been kind of busy lately and haven't been on vj much lately. Just got back from visiting my husband in Nigeria on March 30th. Our petitions were both approved the first of March and he had his interview on April 21st. The interview went well (I think), but one never knows. He needs to complete his medical, which he did last week. So we are currently just waiting for them to call him back to the embassy. I'll try to be better at keeping in touch with everyone.......

That would be a nightmare. Muslim countrys and visas are a rough combo.

I hope it is AP and not a flat denial, which is how I read it.....

They must be sooo gutted right now, feel for them :(:(

The original post on that thread, I kind of thought to myself, um, how could the fiance not know that (college, where born)?

I wish Mohammadwalks would come say hello here and let us know what happened. He was so excited before, and I can't imagine what went wrong.

Hello all,

Corinthians, Pb&jam, Aubrey

PLease forgive me........i am soooo sorry  . i have just been  lately. As you all know my fiance had her inerview on the 28th of april. there was only 3 people there that day so she did not have to wait to long for her turn. she had a white lady with glasses. she said she was nice. she asked her:

how we met?

what i did for a living

why she loved me?

what we have in common?

why she want to marry and american and not a moroccan?

had she spoke to my parents before?

does the families approve of the engagment?

where i live?

when was the last time i was there?

she asked for the engagment photos, emails, and conversations, then gave her a white sheet of paper that had a boxed checked. the boxed that was checked was other: we require nothing further at this time we will call you as we can proceed with your case...... blah blah blah(i cant remember exactly)

the lady also gave her her passport. on her passport there was a green ticket with a 5 digit number on it. it was perferated in the middle of the ticket. so it had 2 sides each with the same 5 digit number. the ticket was stapled to her passpot. the lady gave it to her and said we will call you soon.

im kinda :) and :( , because again i am in the dark about my fiances visa. i miss her so much and i hate not knowing when or if she will get her visa. people tell me that this is normal for morocco, but she is not a male and this is somewhat rare. inshallah everything will be fine. anyone have any advice or thoughts?? bad or good? thank you all for your support and oyu all are great people. wallahi i promise you all are. again thank you soo much for caring (L)
