well... I've graduated to a 10 foot lead instead of the 8 foot one I started out on.... by this time next year I might get to go outside!

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. The day was fantastic (never doubted it ) Even managed to broadcast it live via webcam so my friends and family in the UK could see the ceremony. It made so much difference.

Congrats to the newlywed couples! They say the first year is the hardest, and with cultural differences probably even more so. Let your love blossom this coming year.

I got back from Seattle last night, and the trip was definitely worthwhile (though pricey). Lots of compliments, but enough "suggestions" that I have to re-print 3/4 of my stuff (after I find the time to do those changes). One pro told me to go buy a laptop (to show my digital stuff on)... I just thought, "Yeah, with what money?" Anyway, all those changes have to wait now till after May 16th (graduation).

Andy's been packing all weekend and is moving his stuff to his parent's house on Tuesday. Then taking just a bit next weekend when he moves east to his uncle's for his job. He starts next Monday (4th).

Andy's been packing all weekend and is moving his stuff to his parent's house on Tuesday. Then taking just a bit next weekend when he moves east to his uncle's for his job. He starts next Monday (4th).

We're not entirely sure. Between the flight, AOS fee (hoping to be granted a waiver, but no guarantee), living expenses, health insurance, etc for while he's not allowed to work (and while I'll most likely still be looking and barely scraping by with my job at Michael's), I figure he's going to need 3 or 4,000 dollars. The work days there tend to be long (10-12 hour shifts), so hopefully that will happen sooner than later. He won't have much expenses to speak of. I really hate all this money worry #######. It's hard for me, as until I divorced while enrolled in school I was never remotely in any financial worry before. And I could tell that Andy was trying to keep his spirits up, but he definitely is struggling with the concept of moving today out of his apartment but still not getting to come be with me.

okay and the fun begins i have a few questions for everyone or whoever wishes to answer them.

number one...where can i find a good cover letter?

number two...do i need to send all of the support papers in with the application? i read somewhere that someone didnt, but im pretty sure we need to and im working on getting that stuff together now.

number three...certified check or money order?

okay forgot a few questions haha...i live with my dad so should i just do the contract b/w household members to include his income or have him fill out the same support papers i have to. And I see on some cover letters ive been searching that we need a copy of k-1 approval. does that mean the noa 2???

hey all we are back from a mini honeymoon...it was a MELLOW wedding..a few folks we loved AND his parents wrote speeches for us to share which was a GIANT step WOOT
