Aug 09.......... Packet sent back b'cos of poor written check

APR 10 2009....Our Glorious Wedding (Good Friday, How cool uh?)

it's been 17days of faustration and my girl :luv: turns out to be stronger than me, i think i'm also gonna cry :crying:

It's been 9 days since they received my petition package. I don't know if CSC is bombarded w/ 129-f petitions recently but it looks like many of us who filed in late June or in July are still waiting for the NOA-1 and the check being cleared. Anybody filed in July to CSC received NOA-1 yet? I'm curious to find out...

07/03/2008: I-129f sent via USPS

07/07/2008: I-129f received at CSC

07/22/2008: NOA-1 issued

11/11/2008: Touched

11/14/2008: Touched

11/14/2008: NOA-2 Approved

11/20/2008: NVC Received

11/21/2008: NVC Approved and sent to Embassy

11/24/2008: Embassy Received

12/15:2008: Medical Exam

01/22/2009: Interview - K-1 Visa Approved

01/28/2009: Visa Received

03/01/2009: POE (San Francisco, CA)

04/18/2009: Court Marriage (Chicago, IL)

05/13/2009: AOS Package sent via USPS

I sent our K1 package to Vermont yesterday July 16, 2008.

09-23-2007 met online

05-26-2008 spent 2 amazing weeks with Fiona in China

07-16-2008 sent K1 package to Vermont (waiting begins!!)

Heres some info we got today from our attorney. Thought I would pass it on in case it makes anyone else feel any better.... Not sure it worked for me, but it might for someone else. Ive come to the conclusion that im NOT a patient person! :) Good thing I love this guy so gosh darn much! He could live on the MOON and Id wait for him to get home to me!

"There was a memo circulated by the USCIS this morning about receipting delays, which leads me back to your check being cashed as the first sure-fire way to know that things are in process. Nonetheless, I have no fear as they have your materials and that receipt date is the date we use for determining whether or not something is being or is soon to be reviewed."

So I guess go with your receipt date to figure out a date??? :blink: really?? :unsure:

nothing for us yet.... Still waiting... and waiting..... and waiting.... Anyone heard anything about CSC? What could be going on??

Nope. nothing yet for us July filers yet, I Believe. I am coming up on 2 weeks soon.

Wow it seems alot of July filers having the same problems about encashment of check and no NOA1 email notification . We are on the same TITANIC ship hehehe. My fiance called the USCISand ask if we can resubmit a 2nd copy since we didnt hear nothing from them but a guy said that we will just wait till the check is encash. I think we need to wait till next week but guys honestly i am losing my patience now.... But i want to be with my future husband. Keep posted for those who already got their check encash and NOA1.

Hi guys. Geez it seems like there are huge delays right now :/ We filed June 11th, got a receipt from the postal service saying it had arrived. Haven't heard a thing since then. We called them at the beginning of this week and they have no record of our us on their system. We're refiling next week :unsure:

I think Kelvan we will just going to wait for a while. Maybe they will move it next week. Me and my fiance agreed to wait another week. USCIS told my fiance to wait till encash since they are so busy right now.

If it has been more than 4 weeks with no notification or cashed check you can call them and see what's up. It's seems like if you refile, you'd just be that much further back.

07/17/08 Arrived and picked up by CSC

07/25/08 NOA-1 FINALLY!!!!

07/31/08 CHECK WAS CASHED!

07/28/08 touched!!

12/08/08 NOA2 FINALLY!

12/13/08 NOA2 received in the mail

12/18/08 Called NVC at (603)334-0700 and talked to a nice lady named Rose. Our case was received on the13th and was sent out to sydney...WE WILL SEE!

12/13/08 NVC received letter and said they sent out to Sydney

12/18/08 received letter in the mail from NVC.

12/19/08 another letter from NVC stating it was shipped out

12/24/08 ARRIVED IN SYDNEY at 10:26 am and signed by tom

12/29/08 CONFIRMED it is at Sydney and Good ol Tom did sign for it LOL THANKS TOM!!

12/29/08 Sydney waiting for paper file from nvc and has it requested

12/31/08 Sydney confirmed through email that the paper file was received

01/05/09 His police checks are done and sent off!!

01/28/09 Kai went to his medicals forgot one of his passport pics and needs two more shots all was good!

2/18/09 medicals ready to be picked

2/20/09 packet 3 sent in

2/26/09 pkt 3 received today takes UP to 10 days

04/07/09 interview....APPROVED!!!!

04/20/09 He flew in ..flight was changed he was 3 hours late BUT HE IS HOME

port of entry took 2 mins!! LOL

04/25/09 WE ARE MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!
