whats sad is WE have to SAVE the 1000 some bucks

my sister who lives with me and helping us money wise lost her job...SO i am on the hunt for a better paying job so i can PAY THE AOS............so SCREWED

If you're barely meeting the minimum and have few assets, you might qualify for a waiver of the fee. If you do a VJ search, there's several mentions of it. I have it bookmarked at home (I'm on campus atm). Likely something I'll request (I can show my big fat student loan debt to help :P ).

WOW thanks girl!!!!!!!!! WOOT!

you rock

OMG i know I got to work and broke down about it...I thought wow I cant imagine if I lost kai then I cried harder

yes! i was kinda irritable the past couple days (for no good reason, just in a mood) and not in the mood to talk much with my fiance. when i read her story i was bawling! i immediately got in contact with my love and told him how much i love him, how grateful I am for him!

It could happen to any of us! I hope if anything this will help us appreciate every person we have in our life because they can be gone just like that. we are all so blessed beyond measure!!

Off topic, but I love your avatar!

thanks, those are my babies! :luv: all from the same litter too.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jere. 29:11

You arent alone Cham. Just remember that we have come so far and we ARE NOT GIVING UP NOW!!!! Thoughts with you, wishing you luck with your hunt, dont panic, but most of all dont let 'them' win and draw strength from each other. Something will turn up.

Well, one would hope that our SOs come before VJ! I'm so glad for all of you who are being reunited with your loved ones.

So updates. I'm 2 weeks out from the portfolio review thing in Seattle. Spent something like 10 hours on Thursday printing, reprinting, meticulously cutting, arranging, spraying photo mount (outside and in over and over)... and well, now I have a little expensive portfolio. It's pretty sick what it costs to put it together... I think somewhere between 300-400 bucks invested in this sucker! Maybe more. :o I'll certainly give you updates when I'm back from the event.

Andy's aunt has some work for him starting the beginning of May at her company, so it looks like that issue is taken care of. It's far from ideal, given it's hard physical labor, requires moving in with his uncle in some po-dunk-ville east, 10-12 hour shifts for not much money, and so on. It's work, but not exactly a great relief given the circumstances surrounding it. A couple months of working there should provide adequate funds for the move here/EAD wait. TBH, it's really tough thinking about ANOTHER several months right now since it's already been since September :( Sometimes I just sit and cry.
