Hey guys! I'm in England with Paul now and my sister texted me this mornng that I got approved! I'm in shock! I got to tell Paul in person. I tried to wake him up and ended up jumping up and down on him to wake him up, i was so excited. She said the letter says approved 2/27/09 but i never got an email and my status says pending and no touch. FINALLY! Praise be to the Lord! I dont know anything else, like why it took so long. i'll have to wait til i get home! Love u all, thanks for your support and well wishes!!!

This is some of the best news I could hear. Now we gotta get Jokalu squared away.

A question for everyone who has arrived in the USA:

1. What do you like best so far (excluding your SO)?

2. What do you like least or think is the most strange?

Hmmmm tough one as there's not much difference between the US and the UK if that makes sense?

I love the strange words they have for different stuff and the spellings.............

I love the way everyone says "morning" when I'm walking the kids to school.

I love the weather and being part of a family.

It's difficult not to include Shan and the kids as we could live anywhere in the world and I'd be happy.

I cant say there is anything I dont like right now, maybe once I'm working I'll hate paying tax and getting up the mornings but nothing thats US specific!

Now I'm not a religious man but we should all say a prayer for Jokalu and hope they get their approval soon this is just ridiculous...... We've all got our fingers crossed for you

Hey Corinthians, have you tried the NVC today? I just called, and they have my case. Since we both got our NOA2s on the same day, I'm assuming they'd receive our cases on the same day. But then again, there doesn't seem much method to the madness.

I called tonight and they had the case. Knowing NVC has it is almost as good as getting NOA2 'cause now I know we have escaped CSC and US CIS. The line had been ringing busy almost this whole week whenever I called.

Phew, just got done catching up with this thread! Congratulations on the approval, PB&Jam, Mohammedwalks and anyone else I may have missed. Plus all the successful interviews and POE experiences! Yay!

Barcelona was incredible and our nonlegal ceremony was stunningly beautiful. I'll post pics sometime this week. POE is on Saturday!

POE was a breeze for me, i thought it was going to be stressful but it wasn't. The worst was having to wait 1/2hr with all sorts of images going through my head.

I was asked my husbands name...mmm trick question? so i told him i wasn't married yet and my fiance's name was Rob.

I was asked how we had met and when.

That was it, he stamped my passport wished me a happy & successful marriage and i was on my way!
