Thanks everyone. I just tried to go easy on the approval notice. I know it is rough on people who don't have it yet so...

Thanks for the support from everyone, it helped alot. It's nice to feel like we're catching up with the rest of the thread. Now we just need to get a few of the other July filers up to speed and we'll be set.

Naglfar: People can only hear Nao Para Nao Para and Louco por ti Corinthians so many times before they have to give in.

NOA 2. Really?

Got it! :wow:

That's great news!

Terri: Sorry to hear you're sick. :(

Cham: Sorry to hear about your spine problems. Recurrent health problems can really bring a person down, but I trust that you're trying to stay hopeful.

I had a melt down yesterday. Andy's internet went down again the night before and I had a bad morning (I'm coordinating a group trip to Seattle for a conference...) and I flipped my lid when Andy forgot to ask how I was. The combination of pressures on me and our relationship is so close to doing me in sometimes! There never seems to be any relief. I hope something changes soon, because I don't know how to keep going with so much weight on my shoulders.

Aubrey, I know how u feel i have been in those same shoes...Johnys internet going down, him forgetting to tell me hello or ask how i am doing....and i freaked out on him then the next day cuz i was so upset that we couldnt talk. I have tried to stay calm lately but it is hard sometimes you just have to have a melt down. Your interview is the same week as ours...we had to wait 6 weeks before we got an interview and they told me it was because they didnt have any available before that which i think was complete bull ####### but oh well now only 3 weeks and 3 days to go...or 24 days...but hey who is keeping track??? haha...and i have this horrible feeling that he will not be approved...it eats me up every time i think about it...anywayz...I hope u feel better tomorrow andi n the weeks too come...*hugs*

Thanks, doll. I hope you're hanging in there, too. I think I'm probably not going to feel better until Andy finally gets hired and makes some serious dough. It's been ridiculously long. This weekend he's going to some job-search skill training and he's going to start studying for another tech certification.

Btw my VJ darlings, I'm headed to Seattle this weekend for an AIGA conference, which hopefully turns into a mental break... depends on how the two girls I'm driving act, I imagine. They're barely 21, and sometimes I feel like I could be their mom with the difference! :P

Great to hear that two of you FINALLY got approved! Now we need to get a couple more people aboard and we will be all set.

Corinthians: All I can say they should have started singing and dancing a bit earlier, so you wouldn't have to wait this long. Now they will have to make it up to you by making embassy schedule your interview ASAP.

Oh WOW ! Congratulations Corinthians ! hahahaha AWESOME !

So, I am in the USA !!!!!

I traveled yesterday, it was long...

I passed the immigration in JFK, everything went perfect, I gave my envelope to the officer, no question, just "You are here to get married" and it is so weird to smile and reply "yes" to this question at a POE !

He looked at my folder, and said that Jamie was a really lucky guy. Then I went to another room where a guy played with my folder and his computer for a couple minutes then I left ! Fingers in the nose !

Love you guys !
