no touches or approval for me so far

Soo Sorry for you. I don't know what to say - I wish there was some way to help... this process sure makes us all feel pretty helpless sometimes. Really wishing you all the best! Have you tried getting a congressman involved? Just a thought.

Teekol,

A HUGE congrats to you hun!!

I knew it was a football club. Looking at your nick AND Brazilian flag I easily put 2 and 2 together. Used to be into football big time, but not so much anymore. I always root for Brazilians during the World Cup. And for Russia too, of course.

Cool. I follow it a bit here; but the best thing is going to the games. I've gone to some SEC football games in South Carolina and Florida. Florida vs LSU and Florida vs SC and they are awesome but it's nothing like a football game in Brasil.

NOA 2. Really?

No question about it. Seeing the game live is a totally different experience. Haven't been to a game for ages, but even crappy second-division tournament games in Russia were quite a bit of fun to watch live. Can't even imagine what the experience must be like in Brazil. :wow:

We came up with a couple more questions, hope someone can help. :help:

On Form DS-230 there are two places where the applicant is supposed to sign the application. You are supposed to sign page 4 during your interview as you are giving officer a Sworn Statement. What about the signature on page 2? Is it supposed to be signed before the interview or during the interview as well?

Also, we filled out form DS-156 a while ago. As far as I know, there are no restrictions on how far in advance you can fill it out. Does anybody know anything about it?

Yes, the closer we get to the interview time the more paranoid we get. :bonk:

On the DS-230 you can sign page 2 but do not sign page 4.

I don't think there are any restrictions on how far in advance you can fill out the DS-156 as long as all the info on there is correct.

Good Luck on your interview!

Thanks, dillon! I'm pretty sure this is the right way to do it, but could anybody else confirm?

It's insane. If you go I'd pay to sit in the private area that is fenced off from the normal seats. There's dancing and chanting pretty much the whole game. This video makes it look more intense than it really is, but you get the point.

Blah...had to change our wedding plans. There are not really any flights to vegas left and i would not be able to book them until i knew that he was coming home for sure. And the ones that are left are like over 400 dollars a peice and the trip duration is 8 hours or more either to or from there. So after staying up all night searching on the internet for places in new york state that we could get a vacation and get married at the same time i came across a hotel in niagra falls, ny with a nice chapel that costs like $195 dollars for the ceremony, then costs of other things as well and it will equal up to like 500 some dollars just for the wedding stuff...but it looks nice and some of the activities to do there also seem to be promising. So new plan....but he needs to be approved first and my hopes are very down about that even happening. It is only like 3.5 hours from where i live, i just need to get over my fear of driving places i have never been before. I am just glad i found something for us so we didnt have to get married in a town hall. I would have looked kind of funny going in there with a nice fancy dress on...

The new plan sounds pretty similar to our old plan, but ours was over on the Canadian side, so we will be postponing our honeymoon until we have AP, there is noooooooo way that I am going to voluntarily go thro this process again.

I hope that everything pans out for you. As for the town hall, well thats where I am going in all my wedding finery :D Its our day, we worked hard for it, so we are gonna do it as we want :D

Cham: Glad to hear that things are moving along for you. Sorry to hear you have spinal problems, that must be really draining from time to time. I think determination helps you overcome all kinds of obstacles, and I believe that if there is a way to retain your independance and be wheelchair free you have the spirit and determination to find it.......GO GIRL !!!!!!!!

Sounds like your wedding plans are coming right along Koakland!

Yep! Yep! I just gotta keep at it. It's easy to slack off for a few days :P

Glad you got your dress sorted- I'm sure one of the 3 will work!

Our nonlegal wedding date is a week from today. Losing my mind! :)

Yay on the wedding :) Sorry to hear about the illness tho. Hopefully you'll feel a bit better before the ceremony.

The 2 JCrew dresses came in today and theyre wonderful. I have the ivory long one and the short in champagne. I love them both haha but I'm going to go with the long ivory one. My mom likes it the best - says that I look more like a traditional bride :P. One more coming in tomorrow, can i keep them all?!!

Cham - sorry to hear about your health troubles. I am very happy for you and Kai. You'll be together soon in a few weeks!
