We feel soo bad for you guys... just wanted to let you know that we're still thinking about you and praying for your approvals. No one deserves the anguish you all have had to endure waiting this long - and the patience you've had to have while others have received approvals etc..

When you all get approved we MUST pick a date in 2010 to have our 1st annual July filers reunion!

I just can't wait until we're ALL onto the next phase of this God-forsaken process!!!

.... any ideas on where we could all meet?? Maybe a Vegas weekend?? Ideas?

Thank you! All you guys n your friendship n help has meant so much! I know wen we all signed up here, we all saw the dreaded 6 Month + Waiting thread n all hoped it wouldnt be us. But there had to be a few of us unfortunately. Personally, I'm doing ok, God is taking care of me and I know He will work it all out for the good! He sees the big picture.

Anyways, I'm in southern California, so i could do a vegas weekend. (except i lived there for a year n i haate it there!!) very painful time for me and the memories, but i can manage haha.

Thanks Nick n Shannon and everyone else. I'm sure I speak for all us stragglers, we are very happy for you all approved, getting your interviews n moving over! (now the ppl who filed in nov/dec n getting approved, i cant lie n say i feel joy wen i read Oh my gosh! we got our noa2 after waiting soooo long! its been 3 whole months!! haha.

Hopefully, we will all be with our SOs by 2010 :crying:

Love you, all my Julers! (L)

Johny's interview date is not until march 23rd. I do not like this haiti embassy one bit. First they make us wait a month and a half for his packet three...then we send everything in and they make us wait another 6 weeks to get an interview because they said they need my father's (johnys co sponsor)natualization or resident card....ummm hello my father was born in the united states!!! They will give u a quick interview unless u forget something...well they never even asked for his birthcertificate...but some how they found a way to make it so our interview was six weeks back...and i dont know if they extended his approval then cuz that expires on march 5th i believe. I dont even feel like im in a relationship right now i hate it...this whole process is ridiculous.

IM so so soo sorry for the people that are still waiting for their NOA2's it doesnt seem right at all...and I hope you all get approvals soon...

That must be really tough, so sorry you have to wait even longer. But just think, you do have an end in sight. Hang in there. You have done so incredibly well guys, you can do this last little bit. Dig deep, you are nearly there........

Thank you for your words. We will be okay i know it. But nothing makes this situation any easier for any of us. And only the people going through all of this could understand how it feels. What drives me nuts the most is that people dont understand how it is like to be going through what we are all going through. My sister tells me to get over it and i shouldnt be depressed and everything is going to be okay so live my life. She has no idea what it has been like. It frustrates me to all end that people think they can make judgements on the situation. And then when i tell her she has no idea what i am going through, she says that is just my way of manipulating people. RAHHH!!!

I agree with you that no-one can know, no matter how much they even want to, how this process feels. Yes, everything is on hold.....how can you live your life when half of you is the other side of the world. The only thing they can compare it to is if their partner is away for a few days without them, we all know thats not the same.

By the same token though, we must be sure that what we are fighting for is worth it, to go through all of this rubbish and the relationship that we have with our SO is worth all of this because we want to be with them so much. This process validates our commitment to each other too (even though it is absolute hell, I agree).

So when you are frustrated, come and chat to us :D we are here for you and for each other :D

Totally agree.

And I found it almost irritating to try to explain things to 'regular' ppl... I'd (we'd) rather stick to those "in the know" around here. The support, well wishes and enthusiasm means more from ppl here too - imho.

Absolutely. I never even said a thing at work, until I resigned. Even then, what I'm up to had only come out the last two nights at work. I didn't want months and months of listening to...so...you get your visa yet????

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

so...you get your visa yet????

which, while being very innocent and well meaning, is THE most annoying question possible! Well, after the 10,000 time anyway.

I just wanted to agree really quick  !!!!!!!!!!

It's just plain annoying to hear the same question over and over again. Sometimes I wish I wouldn't have told people so much and just in the end would say "Hey, I got my visa!"

I'm still wondering if there is anything better to reply than a more or less annoyed NO.....

Well went and applied for my SSN today and was panicking a little after reading the instructions for applying......

ORIGINAL CARD: To apply for an original card, you will need to provide at least two documents to

prove age, identity, and U.S. citizenship or current lawful, work-authorized immigration status. If

you are not a U.S. citizen or do not have current lawful, work-authorized immigration status, you

MUST prove that you have a valid nonwork reason for requesting a card from a federal or state agency"

But was in and out in ten minutes, the woman behind the desk was more interested in Ryan than anything else after a few clicks on her keyboard she told me it would be here in 5-10 days !!!

another step completed
