I really wish my bonus had been paid in Jan...i'd be on the next flight out!! But have to wait till end Feb!!

asked how we 1st met

what his job was

plans for the wedding

talked about the snow and it grinding NC to a standstill 2weeks ago & London yesterday

Apart from the wait it was really easy, both the guys i saw were really friendly. The 1st one said i was very organised, as i had all paperwork with little post-it notes on so i could easily access what he wanted!

Ah that's right, I remember you saying something about the bonus now. Did you have a long wait?

I am just looking into that re plane tickets now. I have six more shifts at work, and about ten days at the end so finish packing up ...so end of February. Sooner if I can wrangle it :)

Man they are fast in Auckland ..the courier has just brought my mysterious brown envelope and my passport with it's nice new Visa

Congrats! It's great to actually have it in hand!! Where are you off to in the States, if you don't mind me asking?

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I am so scared that Johny is not going to be approved. He was a student here and technically is not supposed to come back to the United States for two years. And it wont even be a year yet until June. I dont think that will make them deny him but you never know and with my lovely luck they will deny him because of it.

Is this because of a J1 visa? 2 year residency requirement? If so, you can get a waiver for that. I don't know that much about it but maybe post in k1 forum for some more info.

ya we might not have to worry bout it until ajustment of status i dont know...im just finding reasons to be worried...that will be the only way he will be denied, but who knows...everything i read on here is about people who overstayed their visas or are filing for the AOS. so im really not sure...
