ok its 5am in Florida and Shan is on her way to the hospital as we speak!

C section is scheduled for 0715hrs and strangely enough about 2200hrs last night she started having contractions, huge ones a minute apart!

This bodes well for the future as he's obviously as impatient as I am with a ####### sense of timing to boot!

Anyway as soon as I hear anything I'll let you all know!

Just a brief update.

Member on VJ is getting her police certificate mailed to her now that she called, so going to have Andy call them AGAIN and tell them as much.

Having Andy send back the checklist etc tomorrow despite missing the certificate in hopes that it somehow arrives in time. Waited long freaking enough.

Andy still hasn't heard back about his last interview, and is calling to follow-up on it tomorrow. I calculated it out - with his living expenses for 3 months of waiting for EAD, health insurance, AOS fees, flight, visa fee, etc we need $3000 to cover it. No job = no money = more time apart.

I have a job interview for a floral design PT job tomorrow. Doubtful I'm going to do it and my intensive course schedule simultaneously well. 5 classes, mostly studios that require 6-9 hours each of extra of time outside class.. yeah. I won't be spending much time on VJ, with Andy, or sleeping I guess. But honestly I'm pretty done with being the one paying for everything. It's the only reason I need this job at all.

Grumpy about just about everything today as a result of the above.

Good luck to everyone on your continued progress.

Aubrey, I feel your pain. I am barely working right now. I go back to school next week so i will be in school for classes mon, wed, fri and then clincals on tues and thurs for 8 hours. and im only working 3 days a week. But somehow i have to support him and pay for our wedding and all of the greencard whatever fees until he is able to work. It is frustrating and it sucks and im sick of paying for everything too. come summer i am not going to be able to work at all because i have 40 hour a week clincial rotations all summer...my tax money can only hold us over for so long...on top of that i have an 8 year old daughter to take care of too..this whole thing is frustration and i've been grumpy all week and just not a little grumpy a lot grumpy...not to mention i have no really talked to him much this week...i feel ur pain and im sorry that u have to go through this too...

Congratulations, he's gorgeous! A perfect little family reunited in a matter of days. :)

Aubrey, I understand how frustrated you are feeling.

I'm the foreign one but I've been paying for everything too. Bill doesn't have a full-time job, and the job that he does have is literally a few hours a week which goes towards paying back his student loan from a couple of years ago. I'm a student, so am living on my student income which is barely enough anyway, but I'm also paying for the flights to see each other (roughly every 3 months) and the visa fees, leaving me scraps to live on! It's hard, it really really is..

All we can do is try to keep plodding on through the hard financial times, because things will get better. Once the process goes on and the EAD comes through, etc, it will be easier to bring in some cash and it will help not having immigration fees for a while.

Again, congrats on your little Ryan, Shannon and Nick! :)
