Sebastian was a bit worried about sending in packet 3 before receiving it, even though I've been begging him to! He's just extra paranoid about jeopardizing things. Of course, I finally talked him into just sending it when they decided to mail us packet 3. hehe. We have the checklist, so he's going to fill everything out tonight, scan me copies so I can proofread them and hopefully mail it tomorrow. Thanks for the 6 week timeframe info, I wasn't aware of that. You should be getting your interview date any day now!

I feel like a zombie right now in this whole stupid process...Johny went to go get his med exam done yesterday and they were trying to tell him that he cannot get it done until after the interview and blah blah blah...so he called the embassy and they told him what to tell the hospital...so he was supposed to get it done today...meaning we have to wait a week to get the results back so sending the packet back next week...i swear anything to delay this from happening any faster is happening...i just hope he os back by the end of feb. but it seems like he is never going to come home...i went from being excited last week to feeling like this again, like it is never going to end...

They just did a revamp on their wedding bureau in NYC - they were showing it on TV and it looks pretty nice. Not a bad alternative. Here's the AP article on it. They've got little chapels and a shop where they sell some flowers and stuff. Not exactly your typical courthouse wedding. I wish I had something like this around here!

Here's to hoping it's not tacky! Haha. I saw this link about a City Hall elopement in California, and it pretty much embodies what I'm after.

i'm bugging the hell out of everyone in the hope that they get so fed up with me they give an interview date just to shut me up!!

didn't do us any harm sending in pkt3 early, but i get far too impatient to wait!

So here's my update...I got a hold of someone in my Senator's office and they are on the case, they said they would call me back when they learn something but that if I don't hear something in 2 weeks to be sure and call them.

Guess we'll see what happens.

I'm in the same boat. I can't wait for the interview date. My fiance too. We both want it before the end of the month so we can progress to the next step. Another France July filer sent me a pm today. They sent their p3 2 days after us and received their interview letter today so I'm hoping for some good news asap.

im sorry im sorry but i want to be honest. im jealous of people that are getting NOA2. i almost lost my baby today. we are soooo tired of waiting and waiting. Peopl ask me everyday when she is coming and i have to say the same thing im waitng on immigration and it hurts. my fiance does not go outside because it is taking so long. when she does need to go people say to her....wow you are still here. that angers me soooooo much. it hurts to my bone. i dont know how much more time i can take. i HATE immigration i swear i wish i could just...............

i can sleep, i cant focus at work, i cant eat. im loosing it. i try to be stong when i talk with her on IM but today i broke down and cried. i tried to stop but the tears kept coming. she would tell me it is ok and i would stop, but then cry again.................im crying now. im so that i have started to cry instead. what can i do? can i move there? i will do anything i dont care. but this is killing me i swear.........i dont know what to do. im lost

Send your follow-up letter of intent to marry, and then make sure he's bringing pictures of your last time together. Other than that, you should have him bring something with recent dates on it (don't overdo it - a few pages should be sufficient) -- call logs, letters (the envelope that has the postmark too), etc.

There's some people on here that use a program to export Skype call logs. If you're interested in using that as your proof, I'm sure a simple search on VJ for "Skype call log" or something similar will find what you need.

Don't stress on these forms! You're close to the end of this stuff.
