OKAY not TRYING to sound like a HUGE moron, BUT........ HOW do you get the medical IF you do not have pck 3 yet (except by email and the med forms come in pck 4) Do we just CALL them and THEY send out the papers BEFORE the others OR how do we do this.

From what I gather we mail in ALL the forms to the embassy and they send them to medicals and THEN we get pck four

I am so confused I do not if I should Scratch my wrist or wind my tushy!

The embassy website for Frankfurt had a list of places allowed for the medical. They needed our case number (which is on your NVC letter) to book Andy's appointment. Our packet three didn't say anything about booking the medical other than instructions would be sent later.

Congrats on the interview going well!

I just called DOS and found out packet 3 has been sent out on the 11th. Which means we're in the clear to send it back!!! Those of you who are going through the London embassy, do you think it's okay to bank on a first-week-of-March arrival? AAAAH, EVERYTHING IS SO CLOSE AND I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!! (Despite the fact that I found out a few days ago that our potential venue is totally booked up, I cried a lot, and now our wedding plans have done a total 180. We're probably doing an impromptu elopement to City Hall in NYC. Sex and the City fans, I'm talking to you.)

They just did a revamp on their wedding bureau in NYC - they were showing it on TV and it looks pretty nice. Not a bad alternative. Here's the AP article on it. They've got little chapels and a shop where they sell some flowers and stuff. Not exactly your typical courthouse wedding. I wish I had something like this around here!

And Shey - congrats on the successful interview!

London Embassy quote 6weeks from receipt of pkt3 to interview, although this seems to be worse case senario. So worse case scenario interview end Feb.

Definately send pkt3 rather than waiting for it to arrive, they sent mine on 18th dec and i've still not received the official copy. Do you have a copy of the IV-15? this is the only form not on the embassy website for download.

Sorry to hear about your venue being booked.
