My fiance sent an email to one of the congressman in texas. i hope it will work. We will send another letter again today to other congressman. theres no hurt in trying.......

Hey guys,

yep we got approved after the really bugged them :-) So happy!

USCIS never wanted to do a service request for us either since we didn't file before March! So I would really suggest to get congressmen involved. Not only will you get your service request but also a little pressure for USCIS. Do it now as it will probably take 2-3 weeks to get a reply from your congressman! Good luck!

Oh I will because AFTER he is here I have a new job waiting that makes 10.97 an hour to start WOOT..I just have to finish up my medical termonology and BOOM..I cant physically handle this job much longer ACK...

okay i know i asked this before forever ago but i dont remember and it was forever ago what shots does he need? i think he might have the ones he needs and i hope he does cuz we dont have the money for more so if anyone knows that is awesome. he was going to go monday for his med exam and they said he can pick up his police certificate on tuesday soooo on wednesday he is sending out packet three and im hoping by the week after we will have an interview date....man about 4 more weeks to go and my love will be home...its exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time...im freaking out that he wont be approved or something...

Fingers crossed for you guys for a prompt interview, I'm dead excited and nervous at the same time (Nick-to avoid any confusion )

In relation to the I-134 in question 3 where it asks for the beneficiary details we're using a co-sponsor (Shans mom) so my relationship to her is future son in law.

If you're other half is sponsoring you then "fiance/e" would be the correct term.

THanks guys you're awesome! and haiti is a little different if u dont have everything right the first time it puts ur interview date back six weeks instead of like 2 or 3 so that is why i am freaking out so much. but this helped me a lot so i can fix a few mistakes and have him print them out. and i knew we needed 2 support papers i did one and so did my dad...well thanks time to go relax for the night. hope everyone has a good night and good news tomorrow!

oh ####### we put future father in law...i should change it then to future son in law and it would be correct? and u said that u guys left it blank?? and what about for the section 3 where it says name of spouse and children accompaning to join person? that is NONE and NONE right? and lol last thing i put that i filed for johny for petition in question 10...was i supposed to do that or put none??? lol sorry for the questions...now im starting to freak out...haha well then again now im continuing to freak out...

Dont worry we had all this yesterday when we realized we need 2 affidavits of support, one from the co-sponsor and although Shan doesnt make enough (for obvious reason right now!) we still ahve to include one from her as she is the primary sponsor of me.

isnt it annoying when that happens and you lose everything you've written? I bet ya frantically trying to edit before someone else posts...............

I'm hanging in there. I'm trying really hard not to get myself down with worries, but it's never been my strength. No police certificate yet, and Andy will go to the Einwohnermeldeamt again on Monday to check on it yet again. No callback about whether he'll get that front desk job, but the interview was only yesterday. It's a vicious cycle of worries about finances, jobs, and wondering when we'll be together again.

I started applying for PT jobs myself, although honestly I doubt I'll last long in one with my classes. It's hard to explain how much extra work studio classes are than typical lecture coursework. I have 4 of those this semester. My course load last semester nearly killed me, and adding a job to it this semester is like a cruel joke. (edit: I guess it can't be as bad as back when I was teaching middle school and grading papers all night... ) But the worrying about finances is eating at me, so I'm looking anyway. Even more terrified of graduating in May in this economy.

So yeah, I'm just trying to forget all of that. I'm getting jealous of you all planning your weddings and such. I hope you're enjoying the planning process. I look forward to seeing all the beautiful pictures of happy couples reunited!

And to those still without approval... I'm so sorry. I keep hoping for you every day.

We're working on plan B now. This seems pretty hopeless.

We will never give up. Our plans may change from necessity, but giving up isn't an option.
