Did Andy get his police certificate Aubrey ?

I wish. :( Still waiting. He was again at the Einwohnermeldeamt and they still don't know when he'll receive it. Another VJ member applied for one around the same time and is also still waiting. All I can do is sit and wait - nobody we can pester further.

Well you know us Mr + Mrs Organized..... we thought we'd check thro the paperwork in preparation for the interview....

Got to the I-134 and our dozy attorneys have put for question 3 in the section marked Relationship to sponsor FIANCEES MOTHER.... Bear in mind this is the section all about the beneficiary..

Somebody didn't RFQ!!!

made us kinda laugh as we both realized at the same time how stooopid it was! :bonk:

Yeah, well my father's (our co-sponsor) I-134 has that part wrong, too. It's confusing, and I'm not sure exactly how to describe the relation. I figured it wasn't a problematic error, since it's obvious Andy isn't my father (it's written "father of petitioner") and rather that the person filling out the paperwork is. Can't be too confusing since I still have my family name.

That box is so damn confusing to fill out properly.

well I'm assuming as its in the area about the beneficiary they are asking about the relationship of the beneficiary to the sonsor not the other way round????

Yes, they were looking for a description of the beneficiary's relation to the sponsor. I wouldn't know how to word it, and it's written on our form backwards. How would one describe that Andy is my fiance and the co-sponsor is my father? I guess I could have Andy write in the correction if we can figure out how to properly word it.

we were initially planning on me being there for little squirts arrival but as the interview could be any day now, we'd rather save the money towards the wedding, as i might only get a week there and have to come back for the interview then fly back again.......

I know what you mean 3 weeks never seemed sooo short as when i'm with Shan and thats another reason for not going back i doubt i could handle leaving her again even if it was only for a week. And as for little fella god it would be horrid to have to leave him soo soon :crying:

Airlines typically won't let you fly in your last trimester at all...

OK Andy;s relationship to the sponsor would be future son in law, which is what we 've put!

Most airlines only place restrictions on travel if you are within a week of your due date and even then if you get a doctors letter confirming date due and that you are considered safe to fly in the next 72 hours they wont stop you.

BUT as I'm not pregnant and I would be coming to the US it wont be an issue unless there's something my mom hasnt told me........................:innocent:

I'm really pulling for you guys. It's ridiculous that you haven't received your NOA2s yet. It seems like every month a few VJ'ers are added to the 6+ month club and it seems completely random like there's nothing you can do to prevent it - maybe its name checks, maybe its lost documents or maybe its just sitting on someones desk. i think that any one of us with NOA2s could have been in the same position. whatever is going on i hope that uscis figures it out because it's very unfair and frustrating. i really really hope that you guys here something soon!!

Hey, guys! We from June are still waiting too. 198 days and counting...

Our petition USCIS says got assigned Nov 13 to an officer and ever since no one has even looked at it even though they said we have had no problems and backgrounds are fine. I almost bet we will hit our 7 months mark this month before we ever get Noa 2. I think for a lot of people that have to wait longer it is just at random that the file still sits in some box. Hopefully, we will all get cleared though very soon!!!
