Thanks for the embassy info. So at the top of the medical checklist, where it says "visa appointment date", what did you put? January 16th? Or did you leave that bit blank and answer January 16th on another form? Just a bit confused . Thanks in advance!

sorry, on the medical form leave it blank, then on the checklist form put down the date you have planned to travel/marry.

hi friends - i have some questions about ds-230 and ds-2001.

i posted this question in the foreign embassy forum:

ds-230 - question 10 & 11 - asks for permanent residence in the US and where the green card should be mailed. i'll be moving in april/may. should we put unknown or should we put my current address and update uscis later in both cases?

another question:

on ds 2001- it asks for a case number. i assume that theyre asking for the case number we got from nvc and not the case number from uscis. the nvc case number starts with "prs" and the uscis case number starts with a "wac".

please help. thanks.

I would put ya current address and update it later, leaving it blank may delay things a little?

Hey guys,

I just found out a new law to travel to the USA with the waiver program. Now we need an authorisation to travel that you ask online.

Maybe it is a good news for us, cuz' even if you still have to pass the immigration border, you have this document.

What I mean is that I was thinking to go to the US in february if we are not approved before january 15th. I was scarred to get denied, but with the new law it will maybe be easier. What do you think ? Here is the link :

I doubt it will change anything for the positive - I'd imagine it just gives homeland security more time to do background checks.

I don't know if that would work in my case. I am Canadian, but I am in New Zealand. Canada isn't part of the WVP. NZ is.

I have two faves. This one a friend took of us in Holland Set '07 and I had no idea she took it. I look so happy in his arms.

I also love this one. Day before we got engaged in California, June 08. I think we look like we were made for each other.

My favorite though is still from Cuxhaven beach. One of our happiest days together so far.

I'm hoping we'll get some great ones on our wedding day. Also hoping that is some day soon!
