As for this DHL tracking stuff, they are showing that a bunch of packages were mailed off today, only one of which is from the UK. It says "diplomatic papers" and weighs 5 lbs. Does this sound about right?

Ah, yes. I meant to the UK. I don't see any mention of Lambeth yet. Oh well! We weren't expecting them to actually have it before New Year's anyhow.

They should have it tomorrow but will take a few days to show up on their system, call the extortion line next Monday and you should have an update.

My pk 3 was sent out quite quickly after they received the file just took 5 days to get here with all the Xmas post clogging the mail system......

Gratz on noa2s to whom got theirs!!! WOOT!

We had 12 inches fall on us last night and more coming! On Christmas day we are suppose to have a miniumum of 10 inches!!!!!! They said it would be *blizzard like conditions EEK* I have to drive my sister to work tomorrow again on my day off because she has never driven in snow like this! I told her how lucky she was LOL

I have lived here for about 12 almost 13 years now and I have never seen it get like this...we got 10 inches all winter but not 2 weeks worth of snow...I slid through a stop sign because a policeman slide into the embankment...went to avoid him and could not stop or slow down...as it was I was going 15 miles an hour lol I am okay he is okay and he got out and asked if I was okay..did not ask me for insurance...nada...PROBABLY because he thought I would sue him lol...

ANYWAY I have to get up soon to take her to work so heading back to bed ya all!

Oy, you guys usually are spared the snow down the hill. I drove up to Spokane on Saturday and the road conditions were pretty bad on 195. I held up a lot of traffic because I wouldn't drive like a nut. When some people finally could pass me, one person had made a sign and stuck it up to their passenger window that said "Shitty driver!" They were describing themselves! Sunday morning there was another fresh 4 inches of snow on the car when I got up to go to the airport. I'm so glad I didn't drive in the middle of the night!

How much more has it snowed up the hill? I'm wondering what horrid road conditions I'm coming back to on Friday night (will decide whether I stay overnight in Spokane again). It's supposed to be 70 here in Houston today. It's bittersweet being here with my family, as it's harder because I don't get to talk to Andy on the webcam. Apparently he scheduled his medical, but he neglected to tell me the date in his email. Bah! So I'm waiting on the email reply for that info. I ended up mailing the docs to him but sent them express mail so there's tracking. Should take 5 days, and I won't rest well until I know he has them in hand. I'm so tired of stuff getting lost in the mail. His christmas cards he mailed never made it to my family or me.

Ya we still have snowing coming down and on Friday we are expected to have 10 more inches as it is we have 16 inches and I been driving in it to take my sister to work..tomorrow I go! BAH

It's Christmas Eve here, and it's been pouring rain and very windy all day. It is meant to be summer, but we have the heater going tonight...if you listen to the wind roar around the eaves, you could be forgiven for thinking a blizzard was raging outside.

I drove the elderly flatmate around today, to finish up the shopping and leave some things off with her even more elderly relatives. I've had more cups of weak tea and more sultana cake that is probably good for me.

She's being collected tomorrow and taken off to Christmas dinner with her sister's family. I'm staying put and hope to enjoy a little peace and quiet before heading back to work the 27th.

My lovely man is off at his daughter's for the duration, and while we have the net, there won't be any webcam. He's looking forward to the day, and spending a bit of time with the grandchildren. I expect he will be up long before first light.

I wanted to wish you all a Happy Christmas, and all the best in the new year.

Kai will be spending his with his family for a while (last one with them for a very long time) then going over this his buddy Aarons to drink some Coopers pale ale and shoot the bull (poor bull!) He thought I would be upset as this will be the last Christmas with them and his best buddy for a long time. I had to giggle. I said Kai, baby Why would I be upset?? You will be here soon so no worries love!

He is really excited to go to his friends house for an all nighter. LOL he goes in next week for his other shots and the titers test finally. He has been ultra busy like me and told his boss that he HAS to go no if ands or butts...his boss was okay with it and knows he is leaving in Jan or feb for home.

He is worried he wont pass the interview..LOL I told him STOP STRESSING!!! He does have ONE QUESTION though Here it is:

He had surgery for a hernia when he was 17 and he has 4 tiny scars...should he get a note from the doctor about this saying he is okay and what the surgery was for?? OR not say anything and do they check him out for that???

We have NOOOOOOOOOOOO idea what to do as he does not want them to deny him because he had to get mesh inserted.

HAHAHAHAH Cute or WHAT~

He had surgery for a hernia when he was 17 and he has 4 tiny scars...should he get a note from the doctor about this saying he is okay and what the surgery was for?? OR not say anything and do they check him out for that???

We have NOOOOOOOOOOOO idea what to do as he does not want them to deny him because he had to get mesh inserted.

When I had mine, I was on the exam table and she prodded and poked me round stomach and abdomen area and specifically asked if I had any history of hernia trouble. Then she noticed my 9 inch scar( hard to see ????) running down the center of my chest and she got quite curious.

I had of course already disclosed everything about the operation ( result of a bad motorbike accident) so no worries. Just be honest with them if asked......
