How many of us in this thread still haven't been approved or had an RFE? I know there at least are one or two others out there...it's getting lonely in here!

Yeah, I don't think I'll beat the record. Just wishful thinking on my part. I know there are alot of people with alot more touches than me. I just don't understand what the deal is...it feels like they are using our file for a training class or something.

your fiancee in japan receives packet 3. they ask her to fill out some forms, supply some info and return it to the embassy. all the communication happens between your fiancee and the embassy. you should check out the Japan embassy page for more info.

As for this DHL tracking stuff, they are showing that a bunch of packages were mailed off today, only one of which is from the UK. It says "diplomatic papers" and weighs 5 lbs. Does this sound about right?

Hey guys.. just a question.. i want to get your opinions..

the USEM here in Bermuda has receieved our case since Thursday (according to DHL tracking) but they havent contact me or anything for that matter. Should I give them a ring to make sure they have it? I dont want them thinking that Im too excited and I couldnt wait for them to send me something. hehe What do you think - should I ring them tomorrow just to ask if they've receieved it (eventhough I know that already LOL)?

Too early, IMO. Wait a few days and e-mail them.

I agree. They've only had it for a few days lol. It looks like the USEM in France takes awhile before sending out p3. I'm going (to try) to ignore the fact that I know they have my case until Jan 5 2009. If my fiance hasn't received anything by then I'll start bugging them. I don't expect much from them until after New Years.

Gratz on noa2s to whom got theirs!!! WOOT!

We had 12 inches fall on us last night and more coming! On Christmas day we are suppose to have a miniumum of 10 inches!!!!!! They said it would be *blizzard like conditions EEK* I have to drive my sister to work tomorrow again on my day off because she has never driven in snow like this! I told her how lucky she was LOL

I have lived here for about 12 almost 13 years now and I have never seen it get like this...we got 10 inches all winter but not 2 weeks worth of snow...I slid through a stop sign because a policeman slide into the embankment...went to avoid him and could not stop or slow down...as it was I was going 15 miles an hour lol I am okay he is okay and he got out and asked if I was okay..did not ask me for insurance...nada...PROBABLY because he thought I would sue him lol...

ANYWAY I have to get up soon to take her to work so heading back to bed ya all!

thats a lot of snow! remind me never to live where you live. where i am we get enough snow...all stocked up here.

im glad you are ok. PLEASE be carful. with all that snow buisnesses are still open? if we had that much snow everything would be closed..everything. Well like i said be safe.
