Hey Aubrey, before you freak out about the I-134, you may want to look at this.

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00048f3d6a1RCRD

It says "Edition Date: 10/30/2008. Prior versions are also acceptable."

Thanks for the heads up, too. I didn't realize they'd finally updated it.

Thank You VERY MUCH for pointing this out! My form's been done for a while now and my SO has it. I was ready to have a major a freakout, but then I read your post...

thankyou everyone. I have just found out that the NOA2 is good for 4 months. I have emailed him at his work email and told him this. I have also told him to take the time he needs but to not leave me hanging here. I have asked him to meet me in Second Life where we met tomorrow night and that we wouldnt discuss anything right now. Just be together. I am praying he will consider this. If not then I will wait the 4 months and if he doesnt come around by then I will set him free :(

Chelle

So sorry to hear your news Chelle. Cant begin to imagine how you are feeling, but you are being positive which is good...looking at the fact he has some time in which he can re-assess the situation and remember all the reasons he has come so far with you.

I think sometimes this process can really pull on a person. Maybe he just needs a bit of time out to get himself together. I hope this is the case. As has already been said, we are all here for you x

Dont forget to take care of yourself too though!

Some of the resident "experts" around VJ have cautioned against providing extra information on this form because they can request additional information on any of it that you fill in (an example I've read, if you provide your mortgage info they can request an estimate on your house). Tons of people have gone through with no problems with leaving blanks, so it seems more risky to provide unnecessary information.

hmmm ok. i'll have to think about it. I don't have a house :) But I do have investments and savings. altho that seems pretty straight forward, just printing out a statement online. but i guess if other VJ'ers have gotten through it with no problems, it should be ok...eh, i have until monday before I send it to my fiance so i'll think about it.

I want to say I am so sorry that I made you all worry. I also want to let you know that I am ok and that I didnt have suicidal thoughts. I have been through alot in my life and I am a very strong woman , I guess when things go wrong we forget that but after a few hours of crying the strength comes back. I will never lose hope for Keith and I but if it doesnt work out then it wasnt meant to be which I am a strong believer in this. I love him and I have no regrets. It has been a great ride. I got to visit another country because of him and i got to feel real love inside of my heart. I will wait patiently for him and give him the time he needs , if he doesnt come back to me then I will close the door and wait for the next one to open.

Also to the moderators... Thankyou for caring and taking steps that you felt you needed to take to make sure I am safe. I just had visitors and I must say the officer was a cutie ;) but a young one lol. I do now know that you people including all of my family here care about me so yes I will continue to post here and watch all of your dreams come true

Seriously though I am fine. I love you guys and thankyou again for caring. Its nice to know when things like this happens that there is people out there , even all over the world that care. You all deserve happiness and I pray each and everyone of you get it.

Merry Christmas and heres to a wonderful 2009

What I've mostly heard that if you meet income requirements, the are not even going to look at the rest of the form. I think it makes perfect sense for them to ask for additional information if you have assets, but not income. Otherwise, I don't see why they would care.

Oh awesome! I didn't know that it didn't need to be notarized anymore. I'm waiting to receive my employment verification from my employer and then I'll send it off to France. I've read that if your income exceeds the poverty guidelines then you don't need to add additional info (bank acct statements, 401k statements, investments etc.) but doesn't the gov't want all this info? If its asks for it on the form, isn't it required? I just don't want to omit something now and then include it later for AOS and get in some type of trouble. Paranoid. thoughts?

ROFL!!!!! I JUST had this NOTERIZED damn it!! LOL...SO should I toss that one and do the one they WANT us to do NOW???

Sigh LOL
