So, Jamie received on saturday the RFEs by mail. They want my divirce decree, the paper I sent was not enough. I sent it to Jamie today (55euros) so he will get it in 2 days. Hope to get the NOA2 before Xmas !!!

Thanks everyone!!! I am SO excited!

I'm kind of freaking out. I'm going to visit Sebastian in less than two weeks. What stuff does he need immediately and what stuff can I just wait to give him once I'm there? I have a huge packet already put together with my I-134, my cosponsor's I-134, the NOA1, a copy of my birth certificate, a copy of all pages in my passport, proof of an ongoing relationship and a letter of intent. He has his vaccination records and his police reports. They'll mail him packet 3, which has all the other forms, right? Regardless, I have the DS56, DS157 and the DS230 printed out for him. Plus he has that online form. Is there anything I need to send him immediately?

I know we can call the NVC and get his case number so he can set up his medical appointment. How long did it take for those of you in the UK (pretty much all of this is aimed at you, Shannon & Nick, because you were so well prepared!) to get your medical once you had the NVC case number? And when, throughout the process, do you get your interview date?

Aaaaand, as for proof of an ongoing relationship, people in the August thread were saying that they have 200+ pages of evidence. That seems like it's really excessive. We have my flight itinerary, his flight itinerary, pictures of us from our last visit this summer, our Skype histories, emails, postage, my wedding dress receipt, his wedding ring receipt, and a screenshot of our visajourney membership. It comes to around 50 pages. I figure that's way more than necessary, but the August filers have me freaked out.

I think that 200+ pages is excessive. Especially if you're not interviewing at a high fraud embassy. I think that your 50 pages is more than enough.

Wow! The K1 guides do not lie. Things really do move faster after the NOA2. I called NVC and they said my package was sent to the embasy in Paris on Friday. Moving along finally!!!!
