Just got off the phone with NVC. Spoke with a real person this time and was told our case was received yesterday. Automated system still says they have no record of our case, so I encourage everybody who got approved last Friday to give them a call and talk to customer service rep and get a real update.

how come they havent got mine?! got my noa2 on dec 3. u got urs dec 5. ive always talked to real person when i call nvc and they always say that they dont have my case yet... i wonder what happened to it...

I would call USCIS on Monday and try to speak to someone higher up the command chain. The problem might be on their end. Although I have no idea how much time they give themselves to send cases to NVC.

I still haven't received my NOA2 in the mail, but seeing how Aubrey only got hers today and she is much closer to Cali than I am, I am not too worried about it.

Cham, I think when our SOs get here really depends on the country they are coming from. I'm really hoping for second half of February in my case, but not really sure if it's going to happen or not. Unfortunately, embassy in Moscow will be closed for more than 2 weeks because of American + Russian holidays, but there is nothing I can do abut it... Been checking interview schedule on their site. So far they are up to Feb 2nd, which is not too bad, but I don't know how many cases they schedule for interview with each update, so that might change quickly...

How many of us in this thread still haven't been approved or had an RFE? I know there at least are one or two others out there...it's getting lonely in here!

Hi guys. Alan and I are still waiting along with you. Its been 149 days now, and our timeline said we should receive our NOA2 between Dec 5th and the 10th, Today is the 12th and nothing as of yet. Other people have received theirs and they have filed after us so we are just wondering where ours is in the stack of paperwork. Im sure we will all receive ours soon. Its been 6 months since Alan and I have seen each other and its so frustrating not having your loved one with you. Well good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Lets hope they all come very soon.

Cham, I keep hoping for soon and sort of leave it at that in my mind. I really don't know.

What I do know... YUCK it's snowing. Come up at share the 3-5" tomorrow! This town is terrible about snow plowing, and I don't have snow tires. At least I don't have to go outside Sunday... it's not getting above 9 degrees!

Those of you with your NOA2's, I hope you're working on your papers for the interview. Andy talked to someone about his police certificate today (it's been a month since he ordered it), and they apparently are just backed up. I want to have it all ready when he gets his checklist from the embassy. My folks are sending their co-sponsor stuff tomorrow, and I'll get my bank letter and notarization next Wednesday and FedEx it to Andy Thursday. All we're doing for showing our continued relationship is the follow-up letter of intent from me, some pictures of his last visit, and the couple cards I mailed him. I think that's plenty at a low-fraud embassy, judging from the embassy reviews on VJ.

How long does it take for darn NVC to send this ####### to haiti??? It said when they sent me my letter that they would send it to haiti in one week...but he has not recieved his packet yet...and it has been a month and 6 days since recieving his noa2...dont they know i want him home!?!?!?!?!? im getting so fed up with this immigration process...i did my bank and employee letter on month ago and im not doing it again do u all think that it will still be okay??? My dad just got his stuff together this week...im going to call NVC tomorrow not sure if they are open but im going to try i have not had time to call im either at school or at work....rahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
