Oh and I see you've been approved BTW, filed after most of us in here and approved before most of us so its very easy for you to be all self righteous and sing the praises of probably the slowest and most unorganized govt dept known to man/woman.

Just exercising my right to moan cos I can ! :ot2:

IMO, people need to relax. If someone wants to complain, it's fine. Same if they want to be all happy. To me, that's what the forum is for...to help everyone through the process and venting is part of that...

NOA 2. Really?

Well, at least it is almost November 29 and one of us will get what they want.

Nothin happened with the touches; I must have screwed something up. Oh well, better luck next week to all of us.

Have you checked your case status on the USCIS website? I dont mean to be stating the obvious, but I didnt and it is there that I found we had an RFE. I just kept checking the page that follows straight on from the log in page  ......just a thought

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I have; just getting the received and pending message.

NOA 2. Really?

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I agree, everyone has the right to moan cus they can  and when ppl post on here to give praise or advice or something positive, I personally don't think they are acting all self righteous as you stated. I don't think anyone is purposely coming in here and sticking their tongue out @ ppl cus they got approved and others haven't yet...

This thread was started for all July filers to come together and support each other thru the process, and lately, since ppl in July are getting approved, we see the other side of ppl and they're crying foul, come on, if you know they are the most unorganized govt. dept known to man/woman, you shouldn't be surprised when other ppl get approved before you.. as I've stated b4, their FIFO system is broke, and their could be other reasons for the hold up of peoples petitions... no one knows but the ppl working @ USCIS...

I've sat thru phone calls of my SO crying cus she missed me that much, so I know how it feels, I haven't seen her for almost 7/months and probably will not until she gets approved... but you on the other hand have had 2 visits and quite lengthy ones as where alot of ppl that got approved or still waiting haven't seen their SO for a long time, but yet you make it seem likes it's so unfair other ppl are getting approved before you.... you should be happy that you @ least have seen each other a couple times already while waiting on your petition to get approved...

Anyways, we should all just support ALL the JULY filers and wish them speedy approval whether we've been approved yet or not... cus reading a couple of the post after I posted about my approval kinda made me wish I didn't even post about my approval... but then again, someone would of moaned about how come no one is getting approved and start ripping into USCIS for not working fast enough cus no one is posting about getting approved... :bonk:

Ok, that's the end of my rant, cus I can ;)

BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE AND HOPING EVERYONE GETS APPROVED SOON!!!!!

I'm sorry (F)(L) , I'm not an August Filer, my NOA date is July 30th, I just happen to recieve it in the mail in August. I know how frustrating it feel, as I was seeing ppl @ the VSC getting approvals and they are August Filers..

Don't want ppl getting more stressed out than they already are, it's hard to see ppl getting approved when they sent theirs in after you have..

Ingats lage!!

I'm the petitioner btw  (he)

not your fault..Im happy for you both sugar...just gets fustrating to us who are before that date and CSC is slow...

Soooo just to clarify IYO if circumstances have allowed you to see your SO during the petition process this stops your right to moan at the unfair way that applications are approved??

IMO It is human nature to whilst being pleased that someone has the NOA2 to feel insanely jealous that it's not yourself.

There is support in abundance in this thread for ALL the JULY filers, but freedom of speech does allow us to voice our opinions whilst they may not be everyones opinions.

Lets hope the approvals start rolling in for all, especially for those that have sat in this July waiting room together for so long offering support & advise when needed!

Amen. That's as religious as I get.

I've refrained from my earlier high post count so not to be constantly on the complain train about the wait... because right now that's all I feel like doing after spending Thanksgiving alone and seeing people getting approved who filed weeks after me.

It's like I wrote before, many pages back... if you don't like it, you don't have to read it. But if you're going to be here, please try to be supportive of those who linger. It's not easy being in the waiting room. And we'll all do our best to help with questions that come up along the way.

I'm royally bummed about another topic atm. I stayed up late because Amazon.com made me believe they were taking an extra 50% off jewelry the way they listed it... but it's not so. I sure could've used those savings. :/ Oh well. I'll keep staring at that more expensive ring I shouldn't spend the money on. :innocent: Back to square one!

Andy has another interview on the 9th - this time for an IT job (unlike the other crappy one). I have to keep crossing my fingers. The economy is just terrible, so the competition is rough. Wish him luck!

My I-134 packet arrived in Colombia quickly much to my shock. The timing was excellent considering what I feared is inevitable, I am closing the doors to my business. I was able to send almost all of the money she will need for visa, lab & medical and her mutliple 8 hour bus rides to Bogota. Now I know I do not have the means to go with her for her interview, a last minute round trip flight is expensive and I still have to pay for her last minute one-way ticket. She has her engagement ring but she will have to expect a modest wedding putting it lightly. She is not pretentious at all and appreciates even the littlest things I do and I know the most important thing is to be together but I really wanted to give her a decent wedding since it is her first. Another Thanksgiving at Boston Market alone gave me way too many things to think about. I know you are thinking what have I to complain about NOA2 boy but as much of a relief as it is the other worries are bigger. Good news is I finished my resume, bad news is I need to get it noticed as everyone's desk is full of people out of work. I hope the Service Centers are NOA2 cranking machines in the upcoming week. Fortunately I began preparing her paperwork for her a while ago and almost have it finished, what a pain that is. I am with Aubrey, if you have any paperwork to prepare begin now. Just checking in to see how all is going.

Has anyone purchased their wedding bands?

We have ours, we had a kind of unofficial ceremony with just us and the kids last time I was in Florida, Our eldest wrote something for us welcoming me to be part of their family, was fantastic.

The rings are Platinum and have each others names engraved on in Ancient kanji symbols. Inside we had inscribed NEMO NISI MORS which is Latin for nothing but death will part us.
