Hi everyone, I posted this question before but silly me did it on the wrong place.. I called NVC today and they got our stuff on monday and the nice man on the other end of the phone said that it was sent to the embassy yesterday :) .. I have the new case number, and he gave me a phone number to washington Dc in case of questions etc. Now I am wondering is there a place here that we can add the new case number to like we did with the reciept number so that we can watch the status?

I am sending good luck fairy dust to all of you , just take a nice deep breathe and I hope you all get approved today so that tomorrow for us americans you will all be relieved and for those of you that dont celebrate thanksgiving well it will still give you something to smile about :)

Ohh I forgot, I wanted to give you a update on our situation with xmas and the exwife ugggh... well finally last night Keith and I talked about this and I explained to him that when his mother didnt want me to go with him to pick up his son because it would hurt his exes feelings to see me, I didnt agree with it but out of respect for his mom and his exwife I chose to let it go and not go with him. I told keith that I deserve the same respect in return and having her there for xmas is just not fair to me.. Meaning I cant be with him and I want to be :( but anyways.. he said that his mom said she was having a low key xmas this year and might not even put up a tree so he doesnt figure she is inviting her but.. he did say if she does he will tell her that it isnt fair to me and my feelings do matter as I am going to be his wife... I am happy with that. If she does still do it then Keith will have at least stood up for me and that is all I really ever wanted

Just wanted to let those of you know that have been giving me advice along the way . We are also planning a Febuary wedding so all is going to be ok.

Love to you all

Today I'm meeting with my cosponsor to gather all of her W2s, tax transcripts and get the I-134s notarized! We're hoping to get approved around Christmas at this point, so we figure doing all of this a month ahead of time isn't so far in advance that anything would expire.

I'm so happy for all of you that are getting approved! Within the next few weeks, we're all going to be jumping for joy!!!

well no ones touched me today

We sent our petition on july 12th. The last touch was july 30th to put my folder on a shelf I think. Since NOTHING ! No touch ! I know that it means nothing to get touch during the process but you know, I'm so tired and bored to see this fu**ing 07/30/08.

I think it's maddening as all get out...some people seem to show touches all along, but I never did. On checking the USless website just now I still see July 28 08. Still showing pending.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Do you think that the problem is for everybody or just for VCS ?

It is weird to not see more approvals on Igor's list, even if we (VJs) just are a sample of the K1 petitioners.

Maybe it is because their website is all fu**ed up ?

Maybe we can just know when our folder is at the NVC or when we get our NOA2 in the mail box.

What do ya think ?

CSC doesn't seem to record touches either, I wouldn't get worried about it. If you read the other threads it seems like 90% of the people never get a touch before they get their NOA2.

Stressing about getting touched/not getting touched isn't going to make things happen any quicker, it will happen when it happens, it's the US Government we are dealing with, they work in their own way and nothing we do is going to change that.

Have to get all you June/July/Aug people out of the way so they can start on September. :) Hang in there, yours is coming soon.

Well, I got another touch today but case status is still pending. It's really weird...touch, touch and...nothing? Maybe I should call and see what's up? (Just to torture myself).

NOA 2. Really?

It's just not consistant...like so much they do. At either CS some get touches and some do not. Some get email and others never get any. I've seen people at either center have the NOA2 turn up in the mailbox, just the way ours did.

I didn't know we had been approved for 6 days after we were, so I couldn't update my timeline, and show up on Igor's as having got approval ..so perhaps there are others waiting to hear something, but approved, who are in the same boat.

Their website at VSC is all messed up: when we rang there the lady my sweetie spoke to told him they knew it wasn't working. So why do they tell people who get through to a human to check the website for updates???

We found out NVC had our case by ringing them.

I do think it sucks in a major way, I mean it's the only way of knowing anyone is doing anything with our petitions, by seeing the date change, and it won't work for so many.

:bonk: for Usless....not good enough is it?

I would. I'm nosy that way

I'm not stressed at all to not have touches. The thing is that many people received by mail their NOA2 without getting any updates on the web site. The case status is still pending and the date never changed. I just wanted to know if it was the same for California and Vermont. Cuz' I think that maybe I got my approval but it is not showing it on USCIS website.

I can't stand to see this bit*h on the main page smiling at me hahaha this process drives me nuts
