I just figure that even for us in Cali, we should hear something within the next 2 weeks. Waiting 2 weeks is nothing right?

2 weeks + 2 weeks + 2 weeks + 2 weeks + .....

And another 2 and another 2, im gona be old waiting my NOA2 ,december is around the corner, and my hope is going away ...................

And I just checked and USCIS will be closed thursday AND friday

Congrats !!!!! its a great feeling isnt it..

My heart goes out to everyone still waiting but I do feel this will be a great two days coming up ... I see approvals every where for you guys .. Dont give up hope, stay focused and know that at any moment you can look and there in front of your eyes you will say OMG FINALLY and you will scream and dance around the room and the feeling of pure happiness will rush through your body its coming guys

Also Happy Thanksgiving to you all and eat some extra turkey for me and all the fixings.. I wont be doing thanksgiving dinner here in england as I have so much trouble with the ovens over here LOL... But when I get home next week , my oldest daughter has informed me that we will have thanksgiving dinner the weekend after and of course guess who has to cook it ??? haha its ok I dont mind

That's great news! What a ####### shoot with that website/automated system - it's a shame you couldn't have spent the last few days being excited instead of worried.

The website actually worked for us. In fact, we'd sent a critical element of proof along about a month after we filed and were worried that it wouldn't get matched up; we knew it was risky and were prepared to get an RFE. I don't know if we ever showed a touch because I was out of town without internet access, but I have a letter dated Nov 17th and mailed Nov 19th about how they matched up our additional documents with the main package, and then approval was Nov 20th with the website updated showing a touch, the approval, and the appropriate e-mail being sent off about 8:30 pm. J. got his e-mail, too, about 10 minutes after mine was sent.

Now we can both torture NVC.

This whole support paper is stressing me out im not sure i am filling it out right. Is there instructions somewhere i can look at? and seems how my dad and i live in the same house, does he just do the same things i fill out for support or does he have to do anything additional??? I know he makes probably at least 40,000 a year and he has a house, life insurance, retirement and stuff like that. He also has to claim himself, my brother in law, and my fiance. HOwever he doesnt have to put me on there at all does he even though i live with him? because i have my own job and a daughter ???? pleasssssse HELLPPPPP!

VJ has a sample I-134 form filled out here. Maybe that helps a little. The USCIS version does have instructions, too.

Think of filling this out like you would your federal taxes. Your dad would only claim you as a dependent if you are one normally on his taxes. Your fiancé is +1 on his dependent list. If you're unsure if he meets the requirement (it sounds like he does), you can check those here -- they use the same guidelines as the I-864 that you'll file at AOS. Look at the 125% side for the correct number, and it uses gross income.

He did not claim me as a dependent on his taxes but i claimed my daughter as a dependent. I am technically a seperate household i think from him because of my daughter but i am not sure. Thanks

Just got back from Gatwick airport after dropping Shan off, we really hoped to have got the NOA2 this week whilst she was still here but guess it wasnt to be.

I hate this process, saying goodbye just gets harder and harder every time and meanwhile F~@%£*% USless get two days F"£$%"^#@ holiday. I am so right now. Everything reminds me of Shan and all the good times we've shared so far. I know we'll get plenty more but right now I just wanna go to sleep and wake up when its all done :crying:
