Hey guys, we are refiling this week. I'm convinced that USCIS lost our package! We got a signature required confirmation it arrived from the postal company. When we called they said it's very rare, but some do go missing. So we have made a new package, and upgraded some things and added more evidence to make sure we don't get a RFE. I've sent my stuff to Evan and we will hopefully be refiling this week. So maybe I'll still be eligible to post in the July filers thread

You mean you called USCIS and they told you some packages go missing once in a while? Ouch, that's a bad break, I feel bad for you! Hopefully, they will process your second one quickly and you won't be too far behind the rest of us.

Woohoo! I received my NOA1 in the mail today, listed that it was written 7/24. The check still hasn't shown cleared on my online banking... weird.

Checked my case status and it says my case was last updated yesterday 7/27. Does that constitute a touch? The interface confuses me.

Grats. It is about time we starting seeing NoA 1 for us July Filers. It looks like CSC is processing new petitions.... VSC shouldn't be that far behind..... I hope......

Finally, my check got cleared on 7/25/2008 but no NOA-1 yet. That's exactly 18 days since they received my petition on 7/7/2008. I think CSC is finally getting to each application filed in July. Hopefully it will get here this week. Does this mean they opened our envelope and started processing the petition?

Yeah, that's what I posted - the date from there. I guess that means since the date is later than my NOA1 date it's a touch. Thank you!

Hi everybody and especially July '08 filers,

I'm happy to see that we're not alone! We sent our package on July 7th and got the Usps return receipt stamped by CSC on Friday 18th.... We're still waiting for NOA1 and the check has not been cashed yet. I just wanted to tell you how it goes for us too and share our experience.

I called Vermont Center & now they are saying that it will take up to 45 days to get my NOA1. Wish I had sent my petition to California Center.

Exactly the same situation as mine. Check was cashed on 7/25 and no NOA1 yet. I'm kind of far away from California, so that might be the reason I don't have it yet. Hopefully, it will show up any day now and maybe even tomorrow.

Congrats to all who have gotten underway!! I sent mine on the 21st and it was signed for on the 22nd of July so I have a ways to go yet I am sure. Our relationship is at 2 years and 2 months, she is a very patient lady, but now is when the clock will really seem to move slow.
