Well, in theory the child will grow up with the traditional family unit. Man, woman and child. It doesn't matter that the man was once a woman, not really.

Yes , except who will the child refer to as Mommy ? I would think there would be a little confusion going on somewhere. Especially in front of other children.

Well, Mommy will be the woman. Daddy will be the man (who had the gender reassignment). He had the gender reassignment to become a man, I don't think he would want to be called Mommy!
