My fiance and I have now been waiting for over a year just for our NOA2. Is there anyone else out there like us?

Our file was stuck in security check for an eternity and now it looks like it is finally out of the FBI name check, only to be stuck in USCIS background check. I feel like we are never going to be able to get married and start our lives.

I can't believe there are people out there that filed this year and are already approved. Are we the unluckiest couple here? I feel like this nightmare of waiting is never going to end.

I guess I am just looking for a little encouragement...

Oh God........we are in the same situation........all i can do is give prayers for u that u receive ur noa2 very fast i know that they are suppose to be clearing up lingering cases but ........i guess that dont help much for either of us at this point in time.......just pray.....and hope and keep contacting them and who ever else will listen to u .......u have past the one year mark......so its gotta comes soon........ (F)

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

What you have said really scares me as we have only just began, cheque cashed this week and waiting for the our NOA1
