I have it in a folder that has space for 4 different sections. Each section is marked pretty much how I wrote in the letter for consistancy.

I saved everything, including my affidavits. I will happily pass them on to you when you are ready. Just hollar. I got a whole lot of help from my friend Mindy who just did this a few months ago.

Looks pretty good. I sent everything in the order of our cover letter with tabs separating the documents/evidence. Each tab was labelled like the heading to each section of our cover letter.

Looks very good. I did the same - and have a lot of similar evidence to yours. I two hole punched it and put it into ACCO fasteners with the tabs at the bottom, and the tabbed sheets between each section also containing a list of the items in that tabbed section.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Although I still have thirteen days until I can file, I'm ready to rock 'n' roll y'all! I used a clear clamp binder (therefore did not need to three hole punch the papers) with these really nifty plastic section dividers on which you can write. I used a Sharpie pen on these plastic dividers to write the section names (similar to yours). The ink does not smudge.

One piece of evidence I used (and believe me, this is secondary info) that I haven't seen mentionned in this forum is a letter from my local YMCA stating that my husband and I have had a "family" membership since October 2006 (the month I arrived in the US). They also said something nice and gooey about how wonderful it is to have us as members.

Honestly, your list looks like it would be the example against which all other i-751 petitions should be judged! I can't imagine you will have any problems whatsoever.

Hey, not sure where you saw the three hole punch thing, but the govt doesn't use three hole punches (at least at USCIS). They two hole punch at the top. If you're going to use dividers, make sure the dividers appear at the bottom, not the sides (although this one probably doesn't matter as much as where the holes are punched).

I didn't 3 hole punch. I 2 hole punched at the top and used ACCO fasteners, exactly as I did on all the K-1 and AOS paperwork.

This time, there are 4 seperate sections.

And, my dividers are colored sheets of cardstock marked with what is in each section. I am not using divider tabs this time. However, when I did for the K-1 and AOS, I put them on the side. Had no issues whatsoever.

Oops, I meant two hole punch. I just don't feel comfortable putting any holes in my documentation (e.g., affidavits) so searched for a clear binder that would simply clamp everything together. If they want to put holes in my stuff, they are my guests. I wish the USCIS would state exactly how they want the evidence presented (if anyone has seen something official, PLEASE post the link). It feels like I'm doing a grade school project and trying to second guess what my teacher would expect in order to get an 'A'!

BTW, my husband and I are really not comfortable sending all our financial info with the account numbers showing. Lord knows how the government disposes of this evidence (I have heard stories about identity thieves targeting the dumpsters of government offices). I have therefore whited out a portion of each account number. I have another complete copy of my petition package ready to go if they want to see these numbers but I suspect that's unlikely.

A tip that bears repeating (this came from another VJer)...I think it's a great idea to put one's A# on every piece of evidence in case it gets separated from the rest of the petition.

Y'all are spending too much money on office supplies! :) You don't need plastic dividers or tabs or whatever -- it all gets dumped out of your package before it gets put into your file -- in the order they want it in.

Get your stuff out of the binder and just use binder clips or paper clips. They're going to take it out of the binder anyways.

I have yet to see a VJ'er reporting a problem with identity theft due to the immigration process.
