Hi there....

I was just wondering if anyone has changed their name on their greencard once it was issued?

I tried to at my interview ( a wee while ago, you see I wanted to travel and make sure I could go home as I was very home sick!) but the not too competent woman did not end up doing so in the end! My nae is changed everywhere else, ie the DMV, SSN etc......

You will need to send it back in with a form and fees (I90.) Look at the white page that the Green card was sent in with (the thick piece of paper in which the card was stuck.) It advices to tear off the top and use it when you apply for a new card and I assume for a name change also. Go to the USCIS website and look for name change or look at the I90 form. good Luck
