Hi, wife submitted pkt 4 at VFS for her upcoming K3 interview but they did not take the I-134 form. They took everything else but not the I-134 Affadavit of Support. Does anyone know why that is the case? They did not even browse through it. I thought they require the I-134 to be submitted for all K3 cases. Has anyone experienced this?

Although we did the K1 not the K3, at the consulate interview we also brought along the I134. No one asked for it. After the interview, when we realized this, we panicked and overreacted and submitted it (by leaving it with the guards at a special embassy entrance) per the instructions of one of the workers at the windows inside the consulate. We were just concerned that someone had 'forgotten' to ask for it, and we didn't want any problems with getting the visa. Of course, the visa wound up taking 3 more weeks to receive anyway, but oh well.

Some embassies require this form to be submitted and others don't... so not everyone has to submit it!
