hello from el salvador, this is my first post. I am trying to get familiar with this website.

Anyone applying for k-1 in el salvador? I am just sitting down here waiting to receive an appointment date for the interview process. Well, greetings, i am glad to have found this site.

Hello to El Salvador from El Salvador,

I found this website some some months ago, but I too am just starting the visa process now. I am not filing for a K1 but for a Immigrant visa for a Spouse of a U.S. Citizen (IR1 or CR1).

I was waiting to have some documents translated, and had some issues with Birth Certificates, but hope to file the application next week.

If you have questions, doubts, or just want to chat, let me know. Of course I probably have as many doubts as you do. =)

My name is Nydia and I am the US citizen, and my husband´s name is Edwin.

Good luck with the process. It is a comfort to know there are other people in a similar situation in a similar place.
