Earlier this morning my fiance completed her interview in the Jerusalem consulate in Israel. She said that everything went well. She arrived at 7am, was in by 8:15am and out by 9am. The official was serious and stern and asked everything but in the end was jovial and assuring. Said that she would get the visa and that they would contat her to pick it up within a week

BUT... She realized after leaving that they didn't ask her for her photos or payment ($400) of the visa. Should she contact them or do they want payment on delivery and what about the photos?

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

What photos? What $400? A K-1 is $131.

YMMV

haha I know about the $131 but I contacted the consulate and they said that in addition to the $131 it was $355 plus a tax of $45 for $400. Were they mistaken?

Either way my fiance didnt pay the $400. Ok good Some confusion that worked out for us.

Now the actual visa... the consulate said to bring photos and she did but they didn't ask for them. Do they have the photos from our I-129F still?

Are you referring to the passport style photos?

$400 is the immigrant visa fee not the non-immigrant visa fee, which is $131, and a "K" visa is non-immigrant.

YMMV
