Slim, I always wonder how Jerry Springer became may or of your great city. After reading your entries, I know how.

It is funny when I was over foreign countries and having the advantage of speaking the language in the city that I was in, I hear men and women planning to screw over some American. Because you are my neighbour and always thought you were our friends, I always warned these guys what was going to happen. When I was in Nikolaev, I was in bar with American Soldier from Iraq, although he had fiancee that supposely loved, he was finding extra entertainment with another lady. I heard her say that she was interested in wallet and phone to another man in the disco. I warned him, but like Kirk, ignored it. When I was leaving, I told the bouncers that if he lost his documentation being being American military, there will be Sh*t to pay for and they are the ones who were going to pay. I saw him the next day and he had only his phone stolen. Next time, I will not interfere. When I am in the USA, if someone is robbing someone, I will do the thing you suggest and walk away, because it is none of my business.

Slim, again you are right who friggin cares. If fellow Americans are getting scammed or the green card scam, the screw them. Their problem. If a whole city with an unique culture in the world, become infiltrated with mafia to become the scam capital of the Eastern Block, not my problem. Let them eat carp.

If I decide to move to America, I will remember your advice. Do not help anyone but yourself. If someone is getting scammed, robbed, murdered, or raped, that is their problem. Again, now I understand how Jerry Springer was your mayor.

I'm glad you're such a good Samaritan and I'm not saying you shouldn't help those that need it. I'm just pointing out that after you've "helped" them, you're keen to rub mud in their faces wherever possible and sometimes doing so outweighs the "help" that you've done for them.

I just will not buy into what I perceive to be a vendetta - even though the target of the vendetta remains unclear to me.

There are two targets here on VJ.

One is M, the other, and root cause of the problem is N. M is merely a target becuase he was "chosen" over K, even if only for a little while, and even if only to be "targeted" for a scam by N. The mere fact that M was shown any attention from N necessitated K to "target" him.

N is the real cause of all the problems. K is still infatuated with N. He's probably past the point of actaully loving her anymore but what started out as a whimsical puppy-dog romance turned into a real betrayal. K despises N, although he's still obsesed with her because to right the betrayal and heartbreak she caused him, he must first "win her back" by ruining her life through cancelling the advances of all other "suitors" thus leaving himself as the last man standing, so to speak.

She'll have no choice but to come back to him, at which point, he'll be able to exact his revenge on her by building her trust and confidence, ensuring that she's extended feelings for him.... only to crush her and repay the heartbreak that she's caused him.

He believes he can see her suffer the pain and anguish that he's endured for all these years if he can only blacklist her to the point that no one else will talk to her and she'll come crawling back to him. Then he can exact his revenge. Then, even though she scammed him all those years ago, he has now turned the tides and brought her little game full circle back on herself. Then, and only then, is he "the winner."

But now, he's "happy" with another woman. He's beyond all that. He doesn't need to see the master plan followed through.

Yet he's still here. Still posting negative information about M and telling us how horrible N is. How he's just trying to "help" all of us.

I think it's painfully obvious who needs the "help" around here.

Well, that's what's nice about VJ, life, relationships, and trolling CBs like K. People are like algebraic puzzles. There are always variables, but when it comes down to it, you can use the laws to solve for X or any other "unknown" factors becuase even though there are differences in each situation, the constants stay the same and the laws never change.

I am not from Russia, but Canada

Her family so far likes me. Father is away often so never met him yet. It is different in Canada, I have to invite via tourist visa, there is no Fiance Visa. So I have to build her passport so she can visit or else marriage in Ukraine then bring her over. I knew one man who did this and his marriage last only 2 weeks in Canada. Once they land in Canada, they can apply landed immigrant status which is equivalent almost to citizenship. Like I said, the American system is superior, so I need to find the rules about myself being in the USA and bring someone over.

Hmmm..."intriguing" is an interesting albeit accurate choice of words. Quite frankly I'll take the normal variety of snark and heated discussions on the merits of fruit-filled vs cream-filled over demented stalker "wahhhh feel my paaaain" meltdowns any day. But that's just me.
